    When the thread title was amended to "Gabe Vincent Discussion: JJ Would Love 10 Gabe Vincents" I think we all went meh

    Now though I think JJ was onto something

    He was load managing, like everyone else who missed it. We have several players on minute restrictions in general, so this was almost a scheduled loss.

    I have to say, I’ll be the first to admit I can’t stand this guy. I truly don’t believe he’s a NBA caliber player. At least not for the 3 years 33 mill Rob gave him.

    He definitely played well for a stretch in Jan-early Feb or so? My timeline could be off, but this guy absolutely has reverted back to absolute sucking.

    Cannot make a shot to save his life. Zero ability to create, too short, and isn’t able to really lock anyone down defensively. I really don’t like this guy.

    Give Jaxon all of his minutes pleaseeee JJ.

    He needs to better and be overall more consistently a positive player on offense.

    Missing just a ton of open shots and looks early season Gabe a lot out there. Lakers are going to need him to be a good backup to make a run

    I had to rub my eyes and go back and see how the H Gabe managed to rise up and “lay” the ball in over Leonard defending right in position in front of the rim on that fast break.

    He seems to miss more wide open 3s then any other player Ive seen this year. I mean the shots he's getting are basically practice shots and he's bricking them so bad I would trust Vando to make them more than him

    So freaking inconsistent this year

    Horrible shooting night. I’m going to keep admitting I’m not a fan of this guy. I will give him props for his nice little 1-1.5 month run when he turned it around. But that seems like so long ago. I just dont see the love JJ has for him to give him too many mins. Those mins are better spent with DK or DFS or Vando (if any of those 3 aren’t on the floor).

    He’s a good defender, smart player, does lots of the little things. He just needs to get his shooting back and he is a very good backup guard for 15-20 mins a game in the playoffs.

    His shots haven’t been falling for a little stretch here, but I still like how he’s playing, and you have to think the shots will fall again at some point. He’s still moving the ball well and playing really good defense, and he’s still taking shots, which is better than when he seemed like he didn’t want to shoot at all early in the season.
