i thought it was weird that jj was mostly playing jemison in non-zubac minutes. then again, zu just scored right through him in the only post touch i remember. anyway, zu feasted because we were willing to give up shots to him rather than open threes, which is a sensible choice, imo. he also ate up the offensive boards when harden got into the paint, which was probably a bit more than i'd have liked.
Also just nice to have guys who seem to take pride in being Lakers. Hopeful we can find some way to keep him and Goodwin.
He's not real smooth and doesn't flow as an athlete like Max Christie out there but he's quick for his size for sure and "can" get out on the perimeter and where he wants to go in a hurry. Most certainly he could become much more polished and smooth with his movements with work from the staff, to go with his strength, willingness to bang and big helping of nastiness as required.
Jemison, Vanderbilt, Finney-Smith and Godwin all for Nasty Work defensively. Saves James from exerting too much at the end. Covers for Huka's and Opie's deficiencies though both can't be criticized for lack of trying.
Luka is actually a plus defender on most guards, except the smallest, quickest ones, where he does not have enough later quickness. Otherwise he's doing just fine on D.
Yes he is but it seems opponents continue to hunt him. Doncic has good lateral movement to cover space. Very good positioning too.
He should spend serious time each day with a shooting coach working on FTs. Come on Trey … 37% seriously?? Props to JJ for getting him out of there in the 4th immediately when they went to the hack a Trey.
I know this is off topic but do people still think Handy was the front office leak and that’s why he’s no longer here?
me talking out of my a** again, but i think he saw how inept ham was and thought he could parlay it into a HC audition. he undermined, and jeanie & Co definitely don't play that. got too big for his britches.
