Ah yeah true, I think we can't cut a multi-year contract because it would still count against next year's cap.

It's non guaranteed, he's an expiring unless we don't want him to be. I suppose that flexibility could be of some value in an off-season trade, but i'd still dump him first out of the wings and guards.

 

makes him potentially useful in a draft day trade, right? or is this one of those situations where if he's traded, the contract becomes guaranteed? it's probably that.

either way, i don't expect him to be retained at this point.

 

It's a disaster if he's in all defense unit but if he's put into lineup with 2 of the big 3 around him he's making a real case for more minutes.
Guards, isn't afraid to shoot, and he takes good shots.

But as I brought up in Trey’s thread THIS hasn’t gone away or now become “less” of a need for the playoffs.

Maybe Rob has a plan to be able to add both of them and Jeanie is agreeing to bite some bit more of the penalty tax bullet? No idea other than waiving at the deadline 2 minimum salary players and “stretching” one of them’s what’s left of this year’s salary?
