Shocked by the Thunder-Wolves result. Like others, I thought it was a done deal.

Just watched that 4th Q/OT again. What's mindblowing is that SGA hit a 3 with 6:28 left to put OKC up by 19. It's not like the T-Wolves chipped away at a 22 point deficit to start the 4th and did it gradually: the frenetic last 6 minutes - MIN going to the rack a lot and getting fouled, hitting FTs - and McDaniels showing everyone he's underrated.

Caruso had a rough 4th Q: missed bunnies, a two or three missed 3s when OKC desperately needed it, and he fouled McDaniel on the layup with 11 secs left.

What a wild game that was. Seriously!

Reports of the death of Steph are premature. In ORL today: ORL, behind very strong team play - they're big and physical - were up 14 at halftime over GSW. Paolo Banchero looked great: 41 points.

But Steph had 22 in the 3rd - more than the entire ORL team - and 56 for the game. GSW erased the 14 pt deficit in the 3rd by outscoring ORL 40-21. Steph hit 12 3s in the game.

GSW was down 17 as the 1st half came to a close, but Steph hit a 50 footer at the buzzer to close their deficit to only 14. It was insane the game he had. GSW is playing really well after getting Butler. It's not like Jimmy's having big-time games for them; he just works with their chemistry. Today he had 32 mins: 5/4/7 and he was 1-7 from the field. It could be that trading Wiggins and Slo-Mo Anderson somehow tightened up their rotation? I don't know, but Jimmy plays good D and GSW is suddenly being taken seriously in the West. I wonder how long it'll last.

Sure, pick in the white guy. What did he ever do to you? Besides set a pick.

Delusional mavs fans thinking its not that bad. thats insane, sprains usually keep players out couple week outside of the old school type mentality heads and thats mainly ankle. The knee is totally different story.

At the same time I cant blame them. Their only glimmer of hope is gone.

Their season is over? Nah, man their whole franchise is over at this point. KD trade I'm sure is completely dead now regardless if its career ending or not.

Either Nico/Owners have no idea how hard it is to find generational talent, let alone a generational talent willing to play in a small market team. Small market teams like Dallas and Spurs banked on taking care of their stars and loyalty/hospitality. Whos going to want to play there now or stay after their rookie contract?

…. and they probably can be forgiven if they start wondering if Kyrie being stuck with a 50% (way higher?) higher offense creating load due to shipping Luka out …. contributed to it?

eh, luka's injury before the trade meant kyrie's been overused all season. so, no, it's not at all shocking he's hurt. this is how that stuff works--one injury begets another. we know this, and i can only hope our recent issues with reaves/rui doesn't have a cascading effect.

So does AD get shut down now? Why even bring him back if you’re Dallas?

    Dear Nico,

We'll give you Cam Reddish, Alex Len and two 1sts from 2031-2032 for Anthony Davis.

    Let us know.

    How's the weather in Dallas?

    Your pal,

    Rob Pelinka
