AD was going to be 33 when Bron retired and still would have had 2 years left on his contract ( with a player option the second year)

All this PR/BS justification isn't needed

They need to hire a new PR firm. It's REALLY bad there right now. I just don't understand how they thought this was going to go.

First they weren't showing fans on the jumbotron at all. Then they do and this happens:

He was escorted out of the arena. That didn't go well.

The owner's awareness...he's as dumb as his face.

Cuban is on video telling fans chanting "fire Niko" to shut the F up and sit the F down. He gets one tossed.

There's still protests going out outside the arena before the home games.

They're down all their bigs and apron gymnastics means there's likely no help anytime soon

Wait til the tossed fans get the ACLU Lawyers and law suits going. What a nightmare Niko and ownership created. Any rings we win will have been “gifted” not earned. Oh well we’re hated anyway …. can’t be concerned about that.

    Thanks Niko!!

Poor Max and AD …. from being loved in L.A. to being the focal points for Mavericks fans rage over everything now including lost season with the injuries.

I’m glad to hear AD avoids surgery, but he’s still going to be out an extended period of time. The issue for Dallas is their front court is decimated with injuries right now and they’re currently the #8 seed right now it is going to be difficult for them to tread water in the West with AD being out for several weeks.

No doubt, but just automatically assuming, they won't make the play in, isn't a sure bet either.

good that it doesn't require surgery, but yeah, several weeks with neither him nor lively is rough.

as far as the play-in, i think they can make it. if phx keeps sinking, they'll stay in. but they're only a game in the loss column ahead of sac and gs and only 2 ahead of phx. if kyrie misses any time (he tends to miss time), the money would be on them finishing 10th or lower.

anyway, given the season they've had, i'm not sure i wouldn't just hold AD and lively out for the year and go into the lotto.

So Kidd didn’t know and the story has to be JJ didn’t either but I wonder if Rob swore him to secrecy and gave him a heads up or asked his opinion?

wait...what does that mean? is he saying he thinks lebron is lying to him?

and what did he think the FO wasn't being up front about with him? that they were the ones approached about the trade? as that seems legitimate, right?

I think these guys think of themselves as brands bigger than the teams often times, and so to not be in the loop just seems completely impossible since they have been coddled since the time they were in junior high in most cases. I could understand him feeling that way, but I lean toward it probably being true.
