Healthy, back in good shape and has regained his confidence. Couldn't have come at a better time. The planets, moons and stars are lining up and glowing forum blue.

The Nuggets are a threat, but I like this rotation against them. Jokic is going to do his thing regardless of your defense. There’s no such thing as a Jokic stopper.

What’s killed us the last couple of years is the rest of their roster versus ours. Outside of Jokic, I’d say we win all other matchups now. Personally, I’d love to exact revenge against the Nuggets in the playoffs this year.

murray will still kill us. but we have enough size on the perimeter that the days of getting scorched by mpj should be over. and as someone else said already--they have one aaron gordon and we have lebron and luka freaking doncic. mpj or christian braun or russell westbrook will have to guard one of them.

I read this nickname for Gabe, Vando and DFS and thought it was hilarious: Vincent Van Doe

But honestly, Luka - Gabe - DFS - Lebron - Vando is an interesting lineup for defence, shooting and playmaking.

For those wondering, this is why Gabe didn’t come back into the game at the end there when it got very close

    not great.

100%. as was the thinking at the time, he's a better fit here and is more of a winning player. just need him to stay upright.

He’s playing really well, had to take some last second ones at the end of the shot clock as well

Looks like he is healthy once again

Too many of us were writing him off and wanting to trade him

    Good thing we didn't

i mentioned it after last game, but i'm still amazed at how much better his three ball looks lately. even on the misses. just better arc/trajectory and pretty much always dead on instead of missing laterally like he was before.

really wonder if it was simply a matter of getting his legs back under him.

Probably .. His bad shape/health was probably hurting his confidence a lot . He was scared to shoot and now he's letting it fly with no hesitation after misses

He's getting his legs back under him, but he also looks way more confident out there. At the beginning of the year he was super deferential, yesterday he brought the ball up and took a step-back midrange jumper without ever giving it up. And it was the right play!

I think it was mostly that, combined with confidence coming back, the coaching staff sticking with him all that. Someone on a pod I listened to early in the season said players who miss an entire year take like 30 games the next season to round into form, can’t remember which show it was, but they seemed to have been pretty much dead on with this one.

    Completely different player out there.

In addition the the % Weezy posted, just seeing the PPG listed out...it's a long way from the 0s we were getting.

Hopefully tomorrow's DNP is precautionary and not any further knee swelling/complications.

He is more confident because he has gotten his legs back under him. It is hard to keep putting up shots when you're not right and don't think you will make them. That is usually when players pass up shots they would normally take. They had rather someone rag on them for overpassing than going 1-7 and being called a chucker that should pass more.
