One positive about Jemison is that he moves his feet laterally way better than I expected. That’s a very pleasant surprise.

He looked fine. Shot blocking threat, threw his weight around in the paint... haven't had a big who could do that in awhile. JJ called out his defense but also said it was expected considering we just dropped him into a game as soon as he landed.

On the comparison with Sharpe: Sharpe is the better, quicker athlete. Quicker first step, twitch speed, and can rotate out better on the perimeter when he absolutely has to (did it a few times in that game). I think he has a more refined above the rim game whereas Trey uses his size and weight for positioning to get his shots.

This is going strictly off seeing them play for/ against us + highlights.

And regarding Koloko, we've already burned through roughly half the games he can play for the big squad. So if we are just going to collect 3rd string Cs, having another one is needed to preserve some of that availability window for Koloko.

Trey sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders and is wanting to do the dirty work, so i like that

    Before his first game

OK good JJ doesn't hate his guts. Still think like everyone else, then if that's the case Traore should have gone instead of Quincy. Unless Rob is trying to close a deal with Rui instead of Dalton, which IMO would be the smarter move for our future. Nice as Rui can be at times with more room to grow himself. Guess we'll find out by the deadline.

Trey sounds good where his head's at and definitely is a bigger body we need, for now at least.

I would believe this more if we didn’t throw him out in random games in garbage time, like at the end of tonight. I think the staff just doesn’t like him that much. I don’t think he’s great or anything, but I definitely think there’s some backup C potential there.

He’s a little too mouthy this game. I did like his energy and calling out defensive coverage for Knecht, even though I’m not sure it helped.

Yeah, I don't think he's one to be trifled with. After that dust up with Champagnie, he was laughing at him and clapping at the FT line.

he moves his feet decently for a guy his size, imo. refs gave him a bs foul on a nembhard drive during which i was impressed he kept the guard in front of him.

no matter; we shouldn't need to play him going forward unless there's an emergency.

Does a rescinded trade constitute an emergency?
