    I mean if there was something in the medical that was that bad, like IF that is what happened it’s probably good in the long run, we get our pick and swap back and Knecht, but man you’d have to think that ends any legit title chances this season. We literally have no starting caliber center.

    Really really bummed. Our chances this year drop dramatically.
    But we probably dodge a bullet on the long term and that's hugely important with Luka.

    Team is playing really well, let's enjoy the year, build routines and maybe this center less approach can make teams uncomfortable. Bron and Luka fit a center less team perfectly and we can still make noise in the playoffs.
    In the summer we have the assets to make a big move for a center. Maybe we pivot to Claxton

    f***ing poverty franchise tried to scam us lmao. no wonder they called pelinka about williams first

    sucks to lose out on a big man the rest of the season, but would've been 100x worse to have given all that up just for williams to suffer a major injury

    We don’t know that.
    We could have put this broken dude out there for a few games and he go down for the rest of the season.
    I’m glad we avoided being saddled with a broken player while giving up firsts and Dalton.
    This is a blessing in disguise.

    guess it was too good to be true.

    i'm a poet, who knew?

    anyway, yeah--whatever turned up had to be pretty scary for our side, as we basically nuked the short-term here. knecht isn't playoff-ready, and i'm not sure why he'd see the floor unless someone gets hurt going forward. and we have hayes at center and...rui?
