yeah, i really liked hubie growing up. he became a meme of sorts, but i think most of it was actually out of love.
I like hearing Hubie Brown call games. Most commentary is painful to listen to and has been for years, as we've been blessed by the likes of Reggie Miller and Doug Collins and others like them bloviating, Brown would actually give good commentary.
6 decades in the NBA as either a coach or broadcaster is remarkable. even further back if you count his college coaching career a true basketball lifer
