42 and 23 tonight was just ridiculous. Should have had more if JJ hadn’t sat him for 6 plus minutes in the second. 21 and 11 in the first. Unreal.

He's brought everything he's got since his sit down with Shams. He's doing his part.

And in case it's not clear of just how dominant that 1st Q was...

obviously an outstanding game, but...it kinda makes a case for him playing a lot of center minutes, right? watch that highlight reel and ask how many of those scoring opportunities are there with another big on the floor, particularly one who's not a shooter.

    Kind of decent i suppose.

Flip side: how much of this is him putting public pressure on his organization for the first time in his career, knowing that now he has to really show up and back it up. Giving them no room for the Bron and AD have to prove to us... crock of hooey that the FO has spewed in the past.

If the only answer to his request was Jemison, we might see a mental breakdown post deadline.

so...the idea is that he just has these games in him and holds them back for when he wants the front office to make moves?

i think it's possible he's playing with a little fire because he knows he'll have a target on his back in the press after squawking a bit.

but my point still stands: if walker kessler's in the game, about half those FGAs aren't there. much like back when we had centers next to him, he won't be as much of a scorer. now, the team may be better, and he may feel better/more comfortable/healthier--and that's why i've been hoping we get a center since russ left (it was impossible with russ here).

anyway, yes, the answer can't be jemison. but it troubled me to hear that supposedly sharpe wasn't good enough. we're seeing what richards is doing in phx, and i think sharpe could similar things here (maybe not as gaudy numbers, but similar impact).

yes, trade him for a real star that could like, put up 40/20 games instead of being a soft beta.

Exactly. Maybe a center and some draft picks for the post lebron era. We can do PF by committee.

I'm kinda thinking teh same as abeer here....not sure AD has the space to do what he's doing if say we had Walker Kessler in there with him

With that said...we still need a center so that AD isn't playing center full time...

.... or a more perfect franchise "type" player since he's so lacking and there's any number out there better we can get whenever.

Gotta hope the injury doesn’t keep him out long. Team immediately fell off a cliff without him.

AD out at least a week. Another reason Rob needs to find us a big before the deadline.

knicks and clippers games were losses with or without him, i think, but man if we drop the wiz game...it's going to get ugly around here.
