Russell will make his teammates scoring much easier...no more laboring to create off the dribble and defenses can't set up. No more facilitating for 24 too.

I really hope we stay away from kobe handling the ball and throwing up a shot with 2 seconds while everyone else is watching

Let russ be the general out there and make the game easier for everyone else by letting him feed u the ball for an easy play

We FINALLY have a pg, let him do his job

Who's starting to get excited about seeing Kobe Bryant on the court with D'Angelo Russell?

Jim Chones and Kurt Rambis back in the day said that. Then again, they were players that did not expect passes or defenses expected to be thrown one.

Russell's drafting took me by surprise being an Okafor backer. I don't mind at this point as long as they provide him with capable teammates that will benefit from his talent. We have that in Clarkson and Randle... Hibbert will get his share too...no George Hill around here. Now 24 has to give Young Buckeye a chance...don't undercut his development. Lastly, even if Russell is the lynchpin...he should attack his defender. With his size even if slight frame, he can go down on the block against smaller point guards.

Insert "Kobe" for the chick. Come on guys, if he is healthy Kobe still has mad game. He's not going to be stupid about it though.... there's a ton of talent around him again, finally.

Wow yeah, good observation. He sucks balls with his reflexes and effort to not hurt a finger trying to protect her face.

Any chance we can get Steve Nash as part of the coaching staff? Russell would benefit a lot from him, much like Clarkson did last season.

At the very least Nash could travel to our camp, work with guys there so he doesn't have to travel all around. Russell's game has some Nash in it, and he'd absolutely benefit from the tutelage.

If Metta can stop by I don't see why they can't call Nash too. Russell has some terrific flash, great vision, but mostly an ability to put the ball right where guys need it to score. Nash can help him with his footwork for sure. Neither of them were elite athletes in the NBA. Nash can show him some footwork to get himself open in pick and rolls.
