He's played in 95% of the possible games he could have played in.

Speaks more on their coaching than anything else.

26-28 minutes is good enough for Hibbert. Tarik, Upshaw, or whomever can play 12-14 minutes. We need rim-protection from Hibbert. A big body that takes up space inside and makes it difficult for opponents at the rim or gives them something to think about knowing he's back there; I think that alone will improve our horrendous defense from last year. Additionally, I think he's an upgrade in personnel at the 5. It's what we needed...

Some speculation he might be included in the trade.

Is there speculation somewhere else or is that tweet making people lose their minds? I know nothing about Solomon Hill.

    He's an offensively-challenged wing who can D-up a bit. I'm not a huge fan, but I wouldn't complain.

He could be a defensive wing guy for us that we need, but he's pretty average. Not a lot of harm though. He's on a rookie deal and he was forced to start last season. Here I'm guessing he wouldn't be starting.

It's soft speculation at this point, but he was pulled from SL so there's that.

I'll take any SF I could get . In all seriousness, he's what 24? I'd take a shot on him.

Yeah maybe. He seems like the kind of wing we like though: rookie deal, shows promise defensively, and might be able to hit an outside shot. He's also from LA so there's that.

Oh he'll be a decent P/U, Wes was playing big minutes out of necessity, Hill won't and shouldn't.

    Might be a good thing

    Less mileage on those legs

And the important part is hes played like 95% of the games so he's durable if he averages 28-30 im sure black/upshaw are more than capable of handling the rest :)

Looks like he's a great re bounder/defender but yea would love to have him on the floor more if he can make that much impact on the game defensively. He can be what some of us envisioned Bynum/Howard would be...D 1st, O 2nd.

The idea of the Hibbert Effect is real and, even though the Pacers were without Paul George (injury) and Lance Stephenson (departed in free agency) last year, the Pacers still boasted a top-10 defense, a lot of which had to do with Hibbert anchoring the the back line.

Hibbert and Bass are going to really going to give this team a defensive identity.

Just really hope one of Clarkson, Russell, or Anthony Brown can be one on the perimeter.
