Rooting for Lonzo big time. Haven’t read the article yet except for the excerpts above. We used to actually wonder and certainly joke about those cheap a** shoes he was forced to wear and now it’s come out he is wondering too if they started his knee problems.
yeah, i read the piece, and it's good and makes you sympathize a lot. i'm still pretty anti-lavar, btw. and i'm sadly pretty dubious that lonzo can continue his career. reading about that knee procedure...i just don't think it's going to work for an nba player. would be great if i'm wrong.
OK have also read the whole article now and it's just great. What a tough full of guts and determination journey. I too hope it works for him with someone else's cartilage in there who'd been around his age. Had been done only several times on NFL and NHL players but never with an NBA player. Go Lonzo!!
