He was fantastic, 39 points, 9 boards, 3 blocks. Just don’t pass him the ball at the end of games when intentional fouling is going on if you can avoid it
Incredible game . . . up until the very end where he choked three of the last four free throws. Ouch.
it’s unfair but yeah he won’t be considered in the top 3 MVP contenders if we don’t get one of the best records
yeah, you're not going to win games like that. this was a well deserved loss not the first time AD has choked away game-altering FTs though. i feel like it happens a couple times every season. he's just not the guy you want shooting FTs with the game on the line sasha he is not
He made one of the last four as I said. Terrible but he ended 10-13 overall. He should have sealed the game. He started 9 for 9, you've got to finish it off. To be completely fair though the team was trash from the line in the fourth quarter - 3 for 9, so there is blame to be spread around as you pointed out. I think Austin was 2 for 5 on the night from the line.
So there's some rumors that Jokic is somewhere in Europe, and if he even going to play tomorrow he shouldn't be that effective.Gordon is out too.Is De Andre goes off or Westbrook with his historical s*** from Houston or Washington days. Denver is on b2b, today they play vs Dallas. Lakers should win the game pretty easy.Ya we said same about Orlando, but they had Goga who got 14 rebounds and were unconscious from 3 points line . Denver actually don't like to shoot 3.
If we can't best the Nuggets without Jokic and Gordon, we aren't as good as our record suggests. With a healthy Lebron and AD, that s*** is perplexing.
you know damn well jokic is going to hop on a jet straight from serbia to LA just in time to destroy the lakers as usual
AD has played him pretty much straight up in most of the games points and what not. If Gordon's out that helps a lot and KCP replaced by Westbrook is a downgrade most nights simply because of the clanks and brain farts that are momentum killers. But sure we could lose the game no doubt. Just not etched in stone any more. Bruce Brown from 2 years ago gone too. We'll see what JJ can whip up for them strategy wise and then hopefully the ooters will hoot decently.
HA … what a great (in a twist) “gotcha” in the end …. after kind of nodding my head as read the “rankings” above for 750 games. Not easy statistics to quickly make certain sense of. WOW …. again, AD.
I give him all the props for playing through the eye injury and not resting yet while managing the planter fasciitis. He’s been in MVP form since game one and hasn’t dropped. Yeah, he missed three frees down the stretch, but he wasn’t the only one.
We are still asking Anthony to score, rebound and play all the defense on too many occasions IMO. Sometimes he comes up short. Get him some help, not another guard or SF though.
