Dennis felt like he was a better fit, as the starting PG, than D'Angelo too. We gave him 30min a game, and Ham trusted him in crunch time, but starting meant more to him.
Yeah. But he had been the starter on his Intl teams and just come off his fantastic run doing that in the FIBA tournament. You can understand why he “feels” he’s better than a bench player. PLUS the big thing is he’s trying to prove that in the NBA so he can be paid like a starter, after blowing the alleged Lakers offer the first time here. I feel for him but doesn’t look like that kind of money will ever be offered again.
Do it!!! Assume we were wrong and trade him for Gabe. It works for Brooklyn, they get Gabe who can help them tank this year and next year he's an expiring that they can use as a trade asset. Throw one of our youngsters as a sweetener and a couple 2nds if needed I don't think any team is throwing a 1st for Schroder. Wonder how is his team chemistry with this group though
not a miss. unfortunate offshoot of dennis overvaluing himself (again). he could be sixth man of the year here but wants to start on a 12th place team for like, 2 million more per year.
yeah, i've not really understood the push to get him back. he's a fine backup pg, but that's it. his hero turns only occur when he's surrounded with junk. the wizards should sign him and put him in the allstar game, lol.
