Seems like he feels the coaches Never want him to shoot the ball. Shoot the damn ball and show you have some offense at least.
I'm not sure what he's been told to work on. He needs to work on his athleticisim such as getting a strong upper body ala see Kevin Willis so that he can use that to make up for his lack of jumping and he needs to be able to hit 3 s in the modern NBA. Just don't see any improvements with him
i'm sure we'll offer castleton a spot on the g-league team, and i'm not sure another team will give him a two-way at this point.
According to Irvin, there's interest out there in him Regla thinks a team like Miami, GS or Denver could be a fit.
yeah, it's possible there's a better fit or castleton levels up a bit like pippen did. he's just the one i would have cut in this situation.
Absolutely, as much as I like CC, Quincy has too much going to risk losing him. He will be moving up fast.
I like Castleton, but they made the right call in keeping Olivari. I also think Triore has a better chance of being a role player than Castleton. I wish the big guy well.
yeah to be clear, i'm not saying castleton can't become an nba player. i just feel like these two-ways are meant to be cycled through for hits, and you get maybe a year or two, then next up. again, pippen had a year or two with us and then caught on elsewhere. maybe colin gets that. olivari seems like the better prospect today.
Interesting. Listening to Irwin tonight. He said there was FO debate on which big to cut loose -- CC or Koloko. Was a bit of a coin flip. Ultimately we like Koloko a lot more and are a lot higher on him, but due to how long the clearance is taking, it was being considered. And there were some working for the team that were surprised we moved away from CC
Dammit, I'm sad to hear this. Colin put team-play first and didn't try to be a hero out there, trying to pad his stats. I hope he joins up with a team I like or is added to the South Bay Lakers.
Yeah he was always trying to do the unselfish right "role" thing. Looked always like he felt they didn't want him to opportunistically score from down low or mid range, and I'm pretty certain he can.
We've officially moved on from CC There was some thought he'd hang around/ we'd keep him with South Bay to see how the Koloko situation played out. If Koloko didn't get cleared, then we'd give that two way spot back to CC. Either this means Koloko is closer, we're done-done with Colin, or there's someone we're really interested in drafting at the top of the G League draft
the pick was 28 year old chandler hutchison, a former 1st round pick (2018) who has been literally retired for two years lol.
