Man I remembered last night was bad, but not this bad. The only good I remember was he hit a big 3 near the end of regulation, and then later on he kept giving the ball to Knecht and getting out of his way, which was smart. But man, his dribble is shaky, I don’t see a lot of PG vision, needs to clean up rookie stuff like getting the ball poked out from behind after he beats his man and getting stripped so easily at the hoop. I am baffled as to what he did that impressed in workouts and what he does to get praise during practices, unless it’s all BS to up trade value

Yeah have to admit I've lost the rest of the beer in my half full mug with what I've seen so far this year. I find myself wanting bad to see more of Olivari .... handling the ball instead and shooting it and especially on defense.

I’m running out of patience, as well.
That being said, he still has time to develop.

His jump shot form looks like hes throwing up a shotput.

Almost like some coach said a high release point is good and he trying to hard to do it

Couldn't show up for the South Bay Showcase game tonight.

Had one 1.5 decent pre season games and then regressed back into the pumpkin from last year.

Bronny and Olivari are both currently better. Neither cost us a #17 pick either.

Really disappointed. How can you allegedly impress in camp, the g-league and every other behind the curtain process and then look sooo lost out there with the big squad.

End of career MWP was a better ball handler. It's painful to watch. He has no awareness or ability to prevent the defender from getting the ball from him. That's not a point guard, today.

TWICE in a row he… a point guard supposedly… struggled to inbound the ball, leading to a 5 second violation for one of those possessions. How TF can you not be able to inbound a ball as a point guard. And it wasn’t as if he didn’t have eligible targets, an NBA level passer should have been able to pass it in pretty easily.

He makes too many mental mistakes, his dribble is terrible for a PG, can’t shoot anything but that 15ft floater and im being generous saying he can make that sometimes, he doesn’t seem to be able to get a first step on a defender, any defender, to drive, and he loses his man on defense.

Really the ONLY things he has going for him is his size and attitude, but that don’t make you an NBA player.

this is what i can't wrap my mind around.

whatever, it is what it is right now. he either improves dramatically or we might not pick up his third year option next year.

i'd vote for olivari getting his minutes (and bronny's for that matter).

His contract this year should be treated as expiring because there is no way i'm picking up that team option. Hell if the right player becomes available for the vet min I would cut him and/or Lewis to free up a spot.

we can't cut someone and sign people due to the second apron. i think we can do it with two-ways, as i don't think they factor into the cap.

But we don’t have to resign him next year so there's that at least.

i know you're joking, but it's true. but drafting a 19 year old when you don't really have that time is an odd choice.

and maybe the FO feels we do have that time, and they plan to be patient. we'll see.

I'm doubtful in him too. But is being at least a year away or worse than those drafted around you is considered an illness?
