I thought it was his right knee during the season, not 100% sure Jarred definitely injured his other foot.
Ouch..that sucks..hopefully it's just a cleanup, scar tissue related or something. Troubling to have two procedures within months of each other though.
lol both knees in the span of a few months. what's the date upon which you can stack minimums in trade?
I don’t think Wood’s trade value right now could be any lower. That’s okay, since Rob did a great job of signing a serviceable big this summer.
Disappointing. There were some stretches he played well for us last year and I wanted to see how Reddick would use him. Oh well.
So they lied about both Vando and Wood's availability in the playoffs. Cool. Wood is basically out until he's able to be traded...at least. He'll be reevaluated in 6 weeks. We know how that goes. Then ramp up and conditioning and setbacks and "2 weeks away." If he stays a Laker, we might not see him at all in 2024. I felt like his biggest setback when he signed with us last year was conditioning, he clearly had been waiting by the phone. Now it's that again, but amplified.
big year for him. if he's good, we have his early bird rights and can pay him a bit. if he's bad/hurt, he's probably finished in the league for a while.
That was a positive injury update. Sounds like he'll be back sooner than we thought. JJ wants him to get closer to the offensive threat that he showed signs of being before he got here. Until we make a trade, this is the only way AD can play next to another big so we need him healthy for optionality if nothing else.
