So there's two teams now looking for bargain bin Centers to fill out their roster. Quick question if you're a FA Center and you get to choose between the Clippers and the Spurs, which one do you pick?
Call me crazy but I think they should traded CP2 and keep Jordan ... CP2 isn't going to improve at this point of his career . He's overrated in NBA circles so Clipps could have received good players in return
Losing DJ was Huge for the Clips.. Their defense really struggled with him out of the game.. Heck, that's half the reason teams would do a "Hack a Jordan" partially to slow & down & let him clank FTs, but it also forced Doc to take him out & then the lane opened up for the opposing team.. Gonna be hard for them to make up for that..
That'd be a monumental success. As bad as things might get for them, we still have quite a lot to prove to get to their level.
Clippers offseason is hilarious. Trading for Hayood so they have $9 million or so in cap space? Who are they going to get at this point? McGee?
Has Doc made a good move at all since he took over as GM-Coach? He's at a point where his bench is very thin and there's virtually no center. Last summer he gave a questionable contract to Spencer Hawes, could have used him now to fill the center position but traded him for Lance. Austin Rivers is no back up PG. PP will help but he's not getting any younger. Blake is going to have to start playing defense and not sure how that's going to go for his body and fatigue. Can't wait to see them struggle and have CP3 run Griffin out of LA too.
Clippers - desperately needs a center, signs another wing despite already having Pierce and Stephenson. Clips gon clip.
