You know what I like about this? That you joined another fan site just to try and troll. That level of insecurity in your teams ability is really nice to see. We need more people open with their fragility. Thank you for showing our board that it is okay to let people know you need help. Oh, and great game. Looks like we didn't need Lebum to come back from 19 points down and beat your great team. Guess the Lakers "other" guys punched you guys in the mouth.
I think this is it: https://sports.yahoo.com/draymond-g...J9MSTNQP6HJ1iNbbsSlF6p2X31ZbhzOJ1ll_f8hzvnX8O The nutcracker had the nerve to complain on the foul call.
at this point, the league has to considered complicit. he should have a closer eye on him, not more freedom to do this stuff.
Wemby and SA hold off Knicks in OT for win: Wemby with the first 40/20 game by a rookie since Shaq 31 years ago. Sorry, Chet: you picked the wrong year to be a rookie. Brunson cracks the 50-point game drought (unless I missed one recently) with 61. MIN goes into DEN and hands DEN their first BTB losses at home, and now Nugs are in 3rd, Pups tied with OKC for numero uno en West. Nugs apparently really miss Murray, but MIN doubled Joker every time he touched it and it was a winning strategy. I suspect DEN is just sorta coasting mentally at this point, Jamaal or no. Wait to the playoffs: they are the best team in the West, in my opinion. Or maybe I just think that because I watched them against the Lakers the last 8 games we've played them. DEN is 8-0 in those games, and we "brought it" for those games, so of course I'd be in awe of them... Crummy game of the year, or at least Top 5: POR goes into MIA and loses the 1st Q by 10, the 2nd Q by 24, the 3rd Q by 10, and the 4th Q by 16: a 60 point loss. Blazers stunk up the place so bad the guys who run out with a mop to clean the sweat off the floor? They've been asked to tent the entire arena and "kill that stench" before the Heat's next home game, when the Knicks come to town on April 2. I watched SAC be constantly up over DAL in SAC, by 10-17 points. DAL catches them late and wins it on Dante Exum's late 3. Kyrie played like a magician, it was nuts the kinda stuff he pulls off and it looks easy for him. Sabonis routinely gets triple-doubles, got another one tonight and is one or two behind Larry Bird all time now. I find I look at the all-time triple-double list and think there are Brick/Kidd/Harden triple-doubles - never won a ring - and there are Oscar/Magic/Jokic/Lebron/Bird triple doubles. Which sounds unfair, but hey ya gotta win a chip in my skool. I guess the story right now is HOU: making GSW, us and maybe a couple other teams nervous. 11 straight. Jalen Green playing out of his mind the last 3 weeks. 101-100 win. Just get it done, kids. And they do. They only managed 13 points in the 1st Q and Green had only 4 at halftime, but he scored 30 in the 2nd half. This young team actually looks they could knock either GSW or us out of the play-in. Never saw that coming earlier this year. Udoka has done a hell of a job there. When Sengun's knee went out I thought they were done...but they've played better. WTF? I despise obnoxious dip**** Dillon Brooks, so that's a black mark on them, but other than that...
possibly. i think two things work against him. first, sac is meh. second, fox gets more credit for sac not being terrible than he deserves. advanced stats like him as much as most non jokic/doncic/giannis players, but he's not discussed in that tier. for example, if you said he was better/more valuable than jayson tatum, people would freak out. and those people would be wrong.
Watched CLE@DEN earlier: CLE looked good and had a 4-point lead halfway through the 2nd Q. DEN had lost BTB games at home and at around the 6 min mark of the 2nd Q seemed to announce to CLE, Guess what? We've got another gear to shift into. It looked real familiar to to me: the began to pull away and by the 6 min mark of the 3rd were up 21. In the absence of Jamaal, KCP and Reggie J went 11 of 14 from the arc. This was the DEN team we've all seen all too many times. Jokic: 26/18/16 but he looked better than that to me. Just give him the MVP again. He should've gotten it last year over Embiid, too, as he proved in the post-season. The other Great Slav, Luka, had 47/12/7 as he led his team in breaking HOU's 11 game winning streak.
GSW almost chokes another away in the 4th! With 2:12 left and up 11 in San Antonio, Spurs go on an 11-4 run at the end of the game. Final: GSW 117; SA 113.
The stats kinda support that yea, Domantas is the probably the most underrated player. Perception is everything, as I think abeer referred to: SAC seems, aside from when they play us, not as good as their record indicates. But this guy - who has very little of the flash and style of our greatest players - nevertheless puts up great numbers every damned night. He's a huge part of their winning. Jokic's sort of...lumbering?...style is amazing because he's so huge and effective. Jokic's graceful gawkiness is staggeringly great style also. He really sticks out for me, none moreso than all those nutty plays where he gets the ball outside the arc as the clock gets to 2 secs, and he just heaves it over his head, sorta falling back: and it goes in. Not only against us about eleven times, but against many other teams too. He has an astonishing sense of where all his teammates are at any given moment. I really don't see much style at all in Sabonis's game, but he's really effective as a player. So yea: he's massively underrated. Style: did you guys see Luka's latest trick shot? Off the Jumbo-Tron? What about his underhanded 20 footer to beat the clock?:
From Jan 19 to Feb 3 there were 7 games where a guy dropped 50 in a game. Then 50 point games dried up for around 6 weeks. When we analyzed the schedule and the all-star game voting closing day there seemed to be a strong correlation. The 50 point games seem to be back, with Brunson dropping 62 a couple days ago and Booker 52 tonight. The season is down to its last 7-8 games. I suspect we'll see 2-4 more 50 point games before the end of the regular season, for reasons I'm still not entirely clear about, but they seem to have to do with bonus money of some sort.
