    I forgot what it looked like having a Laker pick up one of the opposition's top 2 players full court.



    Thought he had some nice pressure and deflections. Looked better than I thought in his first game back.

    Plus the nail in the coffin

    He had a terrific chase down poke away which saved an easy fastbreak bucket in the 4th was huge.

    Just amazing what having one competent, big and athletic defender does - a real shame the Lakers can't have both him and Vando so I don't have to watch Prince get any minutes

    How does Cam only play 4 minutes in a game where the Lakers couldn't guard any perimeter player on the freaking Wizards?

    Ham said he felt some soreness so they put him on ice as a precaution. I was wondering where he was in that whole second half. We could have used him, but I want him healthy for the long run.

    It's the little stuff that doesn't show up on the box score. Defense, full court pressure and stuff like this...



    You gotta look for it, but he's doing his part while he works himself back into shape and rhythm.

    Cam fixes so many non-offense issues for the Lakers: POA defense, wing defense, boxing out, effort.

    Problem is he has bad hands and is an inconsistent shooter. If he can just hit the stupid corner 3 he's an outstanding roleplayer

    Offensively, I can handle it when he misses the corner 3.

    What is infuriating is when he tries anything else.

    Focus on defense. If the ball swings your way on offense and you’re wide open for 3, fine, take the shot. Otherwise, immediately find the easiest outlet pass for someone else to reset the offense. Just focus on making a quick and crisp pass to anybody else.

    Don’t try to take anyone off the dribble or attack the rim please. Don’t try to get too fancy and “playmake”.
