Excellent all around game from DLo tonight.
Show me more of that defense next game!

Happiness on the deferred layaway plan LOL …. don’t enjoy DLO the player for how wonderfully he’s been playing now, trying on D, leading and being just a wizard on offense so often since he figured out the best way to help the team was not always deferring first to our big 2. A real joy to watch. Rather, none of that matters, continue to treat what he’s been doing now for a month and a half with suspicion because you suspect he might choke in the playoffs. Bah to your never ending spoken angst about him, I’m happy with him now and enjoying the hell out of watching him play in his prime also now.

    Great one tonight.

9 straight. 16 in the second half (unless I'm forgetting one). Good effort defensively.

Game high 26 against the best in the West, at least according to the standings.

Great..I hope you keep that same energy in the Playoffs. Show up when it matters the most, that would change my opinion for sure.

Misses the whole point if his play for the last month and a half still leaves you with nothing but waiting for the playoffs to have him change your mind. Well it’s your burden to bear I guess. How about keeping it more to yourself. Debbie. He’s balling wonderfully and consistently. LeBron was genuinely thrilled for him tonight you could see it.

Meh..Everyone is thrilled with a win. We've won 5 out of the last 6 against OKC. That's our most favorable 1st rd matchup IMO.

Full Of Hubris ...on that Debbie Downer jazz. Winning a game, doesn't seem to stop you from complaining about Ham.

SO....We've lost 10 out of the last 14 games to Sacramento, and 4 out of the last 5.

We've also dropped 6 out of the last 8 against Milwaukee. And we haven't beaten Minnesota yet, this season either.

Get back at me, on this wonderful spell of great D'Angelo play, after these next 4 games.

Good win tonight though. We need to keep it going.

Gonna hold you to these my friend. DLO has been fairly good against almost everybody the past 2.5 months.

I do agree though...SAC/MIL/MIN are going to be huge tests for him. He has to face Fox, Dame, and his former team which he has not played well against. If he repeats these efforts and we win all 3 games...oh boy!

We need to win these games, whether he plays well or not. If he does play well, I have no problems acknowledging it.

LeBron, “hell no you’re on fire you shoot it!!”

Damn had a much better angle copied of LeBron’s face throwing DLO’s pass back at him but that clip didn’t paste.

EDIT: JSM has it 7 posts above this!

DLo is not the problem with our team, and I don’t see a realistic pathway to notably improve our team that involves getting rid of him.

Can’t let him walk for nothing. Don’t see pieces out there around his contract range that are significantly better than him, and it’s complicated to pull an opt-in and trade or sign and trade. Re-signing him this summer to a longer contract and then bundling him mid-season with other pieces to go for a “third star” kills our depth and future assets. Probably isn’t realistic anyways.

Barring a desperate move from the front office (which I can’t rule out) DLo should be the starting PG of our foreseeable future IMO

He's gonna break NVE's record for most 3's in the season :)
If he plays like this in the PO (if we make it past the play-in, that is), only DEN will beat us.

We should be trying to keep him at this point. 18-6-3-1 on 47-42-80 splits and he's at 59.1% TS (!!!!!)

I'm sorry but I'm not mortgaging everything for f***ing Trae Young if DLO is putting these numbers up and we're WINNING.

Unfortunately since he's playing so well right now, he could price himself out of our range and there WILL be teams trying to sign him (Orlando is one of them).

We should not take him for granted...and we should absolutely NOT lose him and get nothing in return!

He’s in his early prime years with all the brilliant skills in his repertoire and is a leader and a great locker room presence. He and Austin together are capable of even greater brilliance and feed off of each other with the kind of chemistry, considering their talent, that has positive spillover to the whole team. It would be really stupid to lose him when he’s not going to command the levels of money players of lesser impact are getting. Like Trae. As well if we show him respect and genuinely want him here I feel certain he would take less money to some degree unless it was insultingly less …. to stay with this squad and be a Laker. As opposed to say Atlanta.
