Rajan definitely has the balls to tell Lebron, that he's not the King anymore, and he needs to relinquish some of the control.

The problem with Rondo, is that his off court decision making, is a bit suspect too. He'd probably already be on someone's bench right now, without that baggage.

Definitely worth us doing our due diligence on. I’d support an Atkinson hire.

What's the Lakers record now with DLO-Reaves-Rui-LeBron-AD starting lineup? is it 9-2 or 10-2?

You're right that no coach would have the clout to over rule James but the hope would be another coach could manage lineups and the rest of the roster better. Reaves, Rui, Dlo, Rui have all shown disdain towards Ham's lineup management. The players have also passive aggressively questions his defense scheme to the media. (leaving players open to shoot).

I think if Kidd or Lue are fired we go after them. With Kidd we'd get back Dudley as an assistant and possibly sign Rondo as another one as they all have experience and the respect of James/Davis.

Well we are 17-10 since Jan 15th. We have 5 games upcoming.. Sac, Mil, Minn, Sac and finishing up with Golden State on March 16th. The opportunity is there, for a strong 2 month run. The opportunity is also there, to have a mediocre 2 month run.

We shall find out soon , which way it goes.

Here's an out of the box option. This guy already works for us, and if you catch any G League clips, it's clear he runs a system and the players have bought in.

With a background like that? Instant credibility with NBA Stars.

Kidd, Dudley, Rondo >>>>>> Ham who's losing Jent to college job (?)

Plus ^^^ all have cachet with LeBron and AD and have played the game at higher level than Numbnuts. As a bonus, I'm certain all 3 are aware that timeouts can't be carried over from one game to the next. ;)

i'm unconvinced installing lebron's friends will stop him from complaining about/ignoring coaching, so i'd prefer we bring in someone who can actually coach.

Where does Kidd fall short (aside from, if still true, grating on players after not too long a period) ….. in terms of actual coaching ability? Honest question, I have no knowledge about him in that regard.

I want to go the up-and-coming assistant route for our next coach. Someone like Kevin Young if the Suns don't scapegoat Vogel and promote him. I'm not sure LeBron and AD (mostly LeBron) are quite dominant enough anymore to not need good scheme on offense. I think the FO had the right idea with Ham, he just turned out to not be the right guy.

He probably is a bad coach. Every where he's coached the fanbase turns on him. This team however, wanted him to begin with over Vogel. I think they were grooming him to replace Frank from the start. We definitely aren't signing an Atkinson, or Budenholzer type while Lebron is here.

Jason Kidd isn't some kind of novice though. He's a HOF PG, he went straight to the bench after retirement, and led his team to the Playoffs.

He is also the 1st HC in NBA history, to lead two different franchises to the playoffs, in his 1st two seasons as a HC. The 1st Rookie HC to win a game 7 on the road. He had to deal with two onerous gray beards, in KG and Paul Pierce, in New Jersey.

He was ironically traded to the Bucks, for two 2nd rd picks!
He got a lot of credit for the development of Giannis and Middleton, while in Milwaukee .

We know he won a chip here on Vogel's staff. Then led Dallas to the Conference Finals in his 1st season.

The guy knows his x's and o's, and has a history of dealing with superstars. The problem with Kidd, is that he's rumored to be an arrogant, power hungry prick though. He wants to be the HC, GM, and team President, all at the same time. That would be a problem here.

    Dear Darvin,

Your bench rotations when we were up by 19 really sucked.

Does he not prep his guys on how to play left handed players?. Both Fox and Harden just went left over and over again.

The one time AR.finally cut him off on the left sided dribble, he missed.

And if Cam isn't hurt and he just chose to not to play that is just a WTF coaching move. When Cam is healthy except for Vando he makes or breaks the perimeter defense as he can actually stay in front of guys and his size prevents offensive rebounds and people shooting over him
