I don't know... We need a SF. maybe he wants to sign for the minimum so he can play with Kobe, our youngsters and potentially LMA.
If they get Derozan for Haywood, that's a wrap. Give them the damn trophy and let's go ahead and have the 2016 draft and FA next week.
Dang! How much more "stars" does the Chosen One need to help him bring a trophy to Ohio. Gilbert must be emptying up his whole $$$ stash. But I agree with that article. The Raptors have reached their ceiling with DeRozan in that lineup. Kyle Lowry plays much better ball without him, and they were atop the East for a good stretch while DeRozan was out. Plus they also need frontcourt help.
How many PF/Cs does a team need? Once Kyrie goes down with his annual injury, the Cavs are basically in the same place they were at in the Finals. You can only have so many forward/centers in the game at a time. Unless of course they're going LARGE ball to combat the small ball movement.
It wouldn't be the first time LeBron's specific " "enemies" have joined him. It'd just be another "can't beat 'em, join 'em" thing, like with Ray Allen. And then there's Damon Jones. LeBron posterized him so bad that he joined him the very next season, and I believe is still following him around as part of his entourage to this day.
James...pseudo Head of Player Personnel: http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba...tristan-thompsons-deal/ar-AAcz2d0?ocid=LENDHP
Cavs current salary is at $81.4 mill with Thompson on a 6 mill qualifying offer. Thompson's gonna get a HUGE raise and then they have to sign their King. Luxury Tax is at 81.6 mill. Are they gonna beat the Nets' previous payroll record???
I really hope that this somehow backfires on Tristan Thompson. How many teams are there with cap space left at this point?
16 millions a year for a backup who didn't know if he had to shoot the rock with his left or right hand one season ago ?
