no, an expiring contract and an outgoing first rounder would definitely be a better thing.

He's been an absolute sniper as of late. He had one last night, I swear the ball curved to go in. Looked like something from Wanted.

    On the money.

    He’s been balling!
You guys know I wanted Murray, but I can’t complain at all about DLO’s offense. He’s been flame throwing!

:Laugh::Laugh: ok, still a kid, but I like that he has righted the ship and understands the team needs him to NOT defer, but to push the envelope. We're best when he's at his best. And I like that so far in tough games he is contributing even if the shot isn't falling.

and SD is a huge acquisition if DLO falls short. We're in good shape right now.

I agree. Then I see your sig and the PTSD from BOTH of his pre-trade deadline coaching performances kicks in. ;)

I heard them mention it in the game and then had to go check the box score to confirm he was John Stockton'ing it out there.

    Nearly a triple double too

It was a quiet 17 dimes (9 in 1st half).

17 to 1 ratio is EXTREMELY impressive

    This one was nice

I love the passing even more than the scoring. Solid game from the Redemption Kid.

barely any shot attempts after his recent tear. This feels intentional, and he did it with Lebron out. I didn't watch the game, but now I'm thinking of tracking down a recording. Pretty wild stuff.

Really nice read! Can’t be anything but happy for him and for the team that we still have him. Would love for us to (first overcome Ham’s 2/3 of the season handicap on the season) …. be in the playoffs and him finally to shine as bright as he can during the regular season. And then with his Bird rights sign him to a nice raise, which as abeer has pointed out numerous times should not be hard compared to what he gets offered from other teams. He says multiple times he just wants to be “wanted” wherever it is, clearly loves his teammates here and being a Laker again.

this is the laker tax on shooting percentages, verbalized.

still think that showing confidence in him instead of benching him would have us in a much better position today on several fronts (standings, chemistry, future). as it stands, he's (rightfully) not happy with how he was treated, and this won't be something he forgets during contract negotiations this summer. we fumbled this hard, top-to-bottom, imo. bad understanding of human motivation.

definitely see this. he's not the same guy as the first time around, off the court. on the court, he's actually quite similar.

this is definitely true. you can't just sit and wait. reaves understands this, and it's good that dlo got over it and is in that mode now. we're going to live and die with his impact regardless, he might as well be doing it his way.
