I don't know what Ham had in mind, I do know that Cam and Jarred were both injured, in the minutes that they did play.

So just throwing Vanderbilt into the starting lineup earlier, could have led to him getting injured earlier. Perhaps he wasn't quite ready for an increased workload, or maybe it was just a fluke injury IDK.

However Lebron and AD, are both on the court, for the start of these halves too. I'm still looking at my two best players, what are they doing during these bad starts?

I'm not sure what some new coach, is going to do with the same players available. Lebron is 21 years in, and he's not "coachable" IMO, he's going to do whatever he wants to do, regardless of who the HC is.

I favored starting Reddish and Vanderbilt, because of the energy that they brought to the floor, that's off the table now. We are even more of an offense first team today.

It will be interesting to see if Lebron, Austin and D'Angelo, can consistently score at the high Clip that we are going to need moving forward. We can still smoke folks if everyone is on, but we can also lose to anybody, if they aren’t. The big two need to step it up, that's why they are considered to be top 10 in the NBA. They don't get,(or deserve) the luxury, to blame injuries or the HC IMO. Superstars league wide, are out here carrying their teams. Ours sometimes pick and choose their spots, and that energy affects the team too. I love Vanderbilt, H-Town's own! Yet..I have a bit of an issue, with him being called, "The heart and soul of the team".

WTF are Lebron and AD for? Vanderbilt is the guy, that gets the team going? We have two MVP caliber players, bump that.

Yes Darvin … you could have “tried” it sooner in a sincere fashion and had the staff keep on Rui to improve in the areas really needing it, and given him plenty of minutes to get into a good season rhythm so he could get there. Better late than never and Taurean is a good burst of energy and talent off the bench.

If Ham could coach at this level more games than not our chances go way up.

I can’t believe he didn’t start his son, Prince.
I also couldn’t believe it took him three quarters to figure out that Brunson needed to be doubled. The Knicks only had one other offensive player on the floor tonight.
    It’s not rocket science.

Funny how no other team figured that out yet.

And even then... he doubled waaaaay too early in the shot clock, IMO. Once someone (not sure if Pimple) realized it -- they started doubling at around 12s left... which put the likes of Hart in time pressure to create, which they absolutely can't.

For Ham that is pretty fast. He is usually months behind what everyone else can see. Last nights version, though still lacking, was much improved. Consider this: He made a line up change AND an in game adjustment that worked in the same game! I'm not ready to give him an extension, but dang.

His rotations were better tnoight but he still panicked into putting his golden boy in the game late in the 4th.

Still would rather fire him but if we beat denver/new orleans this week that'll say a lot abou tthis team.

We need to beat the Nuggets. They’ve had our number and we are unveiling the Kobe statue. Team needs to get it done.

The rotations are finally making sense. I hope we keep Rui as a starter going forward and Prince off the bench. It’s working.

It's weird he benched Prince when Vando got hurt. Really supports the idea he didn't do it before out of fear it proved he was wrong. Not a good indicator for him

Glad he finally did it anyway and the team thriving

I just wish Rui would start being a little more like the Kawhi (lite) Handy thought he reminded him of when he got here. A little more impactful now that he’s gotten the shot. He’s doing OK but if he could get back to how he was playing when he kind of blew up in the playoffs that would be great. Numbnuts messed him up with how he handled all that up to this point.
