The sample size was tiny. If he had hit a good per cent of the small amount overall total shots he took in that short period, no one would be saying he's garbage. Such instant gratification and dead certain labeling around here. That way too often has to get walked back. "Garbage" because he didn't hit enough shots, in new system with new team in the small sample is not the fairest or brightest of takes ......

These trade rumors sure have boosted D'Lo up...looked like Curry for 3 quarters before Hamas forgot he was shooting well and was forgotten in the 4th.

He is showing up this month in a big way. Credit to him

But I'm a spoiled Lakers fan; I would appreciate if he would have put up these numbers up against Denver.

I know I know but I watched Kobe all my life like most of us...

If Dlo knew how to con his way to the line like Dame he'd be a max player.

Got a bad feeling we're going to regret trading DLO once the trade happens...

He is a good fit with Bron/AD and he's capable of playing at an all star level

Clearly been our 3rd best player in 2024...and that's also allowed Austin Reaves to settle into his role as that 3rd/4th guy/glue guy.

I think Vando needs to start alongside DLO/Reaves to make up for their defensive shortcomings though.

We might . . . though I would not pass up an opportunity to get Murray. I'm a huge fan of his. It's true that it may mess with chemistry. But then again Ham's already done damage that way and I'm not sure how reparable it is.

It's tough. I've been rooting for Dlo to get it together all year, but the fact is this team is still stuck in the mud in the standings at .500 and in 9th place. That's not good enough. I'd rather take the chance on improving the roster with Murray if it's actually possible. Up to Atlanta really.

This. I too keep harping. Ham says reason he needs Prince is for his 3s and spacing the floor. But now prime Vando again PLUS is showing the fruits offensively from all the work he put in this summer on the roadshow with Handy and Rui …. and if Numbnuts was true to his lies about being a defense first coach, would see that Vando is more of a difference maker and his much better impact on defense, rebounding and steals than Prince allows DLO and AR to MORE than make up for Prince not starting with what he brings.

DLO has really stepped up his play. He’s playing like a guy who wants to be here.

That player option worries me though.

i've been a fan of murray for a while, too. before his extension, i mentioned him as my prime FA target if we chose that route next summer. his extension is team-friendly, too. i've probably been one of dlo's larger champions on the forum this year, but i'd move him for murray. not for any other deal i've seen, though.

i think he's proving a point about not being a bench player. the player option doesn't worry me that much. if he flames out in the playoffs again, he won't take it and becomes an expiring. if he doesn't, we probably had a great year and can easily outbid teams for him. and i don't see a bunch of teams with space lining up to use it on even this version of dlo.

all that said, someone outbidding us for murray could end up being a blessing in disguise.

Man, that was fun. As Laker fans, cheering for the worst 3 point shooting franchise in league history, we don't get to see many 3 point barrages like that.

Seems like Donovan told his team win or lose, don't let him shoot another one of those cause Caruso, Dosunmu, and White all turned their attention to hounding him.

What a game. He's so fun to watch when he is more aggressive with that long range shot.

He seems to have developed unlimited range on that 3. I mean, we're talking about some deeeeep threes there.

Please trade Rui for someone like Brogdon or Brown instead of Dlo.
Not only is Dlo a better player but the Lakers have like 5 guys who can take Rui's minutes and they won't really miss a beat. OTOH they only have two guards who you can trust to play in big games

I’d rather trade Prince. Maybe bundle him and another couple guys for a backup PG.
