feel like AD is saying: play another center and let's be aggressive on the perimeter defensively and have a second shot blocker in case i'm out contesting threes.

Sources: Lakers Committed to Darvin Ham, Focused on Improving Backcourt

    CHRIS HAYNES
LOS ANGELES — Having lost 11 of their past 16 contests and on the heels of an 18-point loss at home to the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, the Los Angeles Lakers remain committed to head coach Darvin Ham, league sources tell Bleacher Report.

Owner Jeanie Buss and president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka have informed the second-year head coach that his job is not in jeopardy, sources say.

That assurance from the top has allowed Ham to purely focus on redirecting his team.

"I speak to Rob every day, and we're always discussing ways to improve our team and what we can do better as a coaching staff," Ham told B/R after falling to 19-20 on the season. "It's an open dialogue that I embrace and that is helpful. We're all trying to get this right, and we will."

byron was brought in to develop the young guys and lose games. he was a tanking coach

the only coach i would take ham over at this point is MDA because his "3s and no D" strategy is stupid and doesn't get you anywhere. brown was an idiot, but he got the most out of bynum and the team generally played well under him. luke and ham both fall under the same category for me and that's "good assistant, but not competent enough to be a HC"

Regarding the Haynes report Jeanie is committed to Ham, we’re screwed, season is a wash. This franchise has been sick at the top for a while now, the chip just distracted from it. Terrible coaching hires, power struggles, nothing has changed, we’re just lucky Bron and AD got us a banner. Ham is a clown

Yeah lineups seem sketchy. DLo burn is also weird, he's more a solution than a problem with this roster.
Just gotta find ways to protect him defensively. Defense is a team's thing, it's up the collective to find ways to work, there's a bunch of worse defenders than DLo getting minutes in the league

We don’t have one go-to lineup, not one. We have no idea who our best players are apparently

If AD doesn't go 5-21 on a night without Lebron, we win that game. The lineup wasn't the problem tonight.

As long as Ham do not use his more talented players we will be buried in mediocrity. Complete d******. there’s no reason that Rui should play less than 20 minutes

This continues to blow my mind. And I think Prince has been solid for us overall. But he shouldn’t be locked in as a starter or playing more than guys like Rui and DLO.

This isn’t complicated at all. Just start and play your best players. Works in literally every sport on all levels.
