please tell me they're playing JHS at the point in the g-league and not further screwing up his first year by letting pippen run it with jhs as a sg/sf. pippen is NOT our development project anymore. i don't care if he's better right now, either. that's not what the g-league is for.
He had a good game. He needs all the reps he could get down there and another summer league. May need G-League next year, too.

yeah, limited highlights there, but he's a good ballhandler and passer. all he needs to be an nba rotation player, imo, is a decent standing three and to show he can be a plus defender. we didn't draft him imagining he'd be a star.
Well this was what I thought after watching the first summer league game and I haven't seen anything to change my mind. Underwhelming player every time I've seen him. Seems like a nice dude and hopefully it will work out for him - he's going to need a lot of work to get rotation minutes and the Lakers bet on his character clearly so there's that and he's young.
What I’ve been saying last couple of days. He was injured and then they needed end of the bench insurance. Not some big Lakers development screw up.
