Somehow still played TP more minutes than Vando, Cam, Rui. IDK what has to happen for his minutes to be cut...but it's time for Rob to step in and trade TP so he can force ham to play the right guys!

Seriously, look at the numbers. Prince is averaging 30 minutes per game! All the while only scoring 8.5 per game on 41% shooting overall and 33% on threes. That is NOT good. And he’s not as good a defender as Cam, Vando or Max.

Prince was solid on D against Phoenix IMO. He's been pretty solid all season, in that regard. He's not quite quick enough, to stick with the smaller guards, but he usually holds his own on, switching from 2-4. I thought he held up good when the Suns caught him in the paint against Nurkic too.

His misadventures mostly come on the offensive end. With Jarred and Rui back now, his playing time at SF will drop off, bringing his overall MP down. He's still a better defender, than he's getting credit for around here, and he's still ahead of Max as a defender.

Unique situation, Lebron is older than some coaches and my guess is, he would actually be a better coach than most of them. He is going to settle for ownership.

Ham gets a lot of flack, there is this perception that he doesn’t actually do any coaching and just stands there with his hands in his pocket.

I’m not ready to say these critiques are completely unjustified, but last night’s broadcast that had the coaches mic’d up did reveal Ham to be a lot more involved than I had realized.

There was a moment where Rui was bringing the ball up and had a favorable matchup, but the rest of the team was relatively crowded so Ham told them to clear out to let Rui iso. I heard him warn a player on the inbounds that a defender was sneaking up behind them. Pushing players to bring the ball up when it was getting close to an 8 second violation. These are just a few examples off the top of my head. And it’s not like he was just saying these things, you could see the team actively responding to his guidance in real time.

Again it’s nothing major, but I still thought that was a cool aspect to the broadcast and does go to show there is much more to coaching than what we can ascertain from a regular broadcast.

Agree. You can hear Ham issuing orders on the floor. Especially when the bench was emptied all of the 4th. Like the broadcasting crew surmised that it was a constant teaching moment.

I think Ham is actually an ultra patient guy, and way more patient and slow moving on making moves than I'd like. But that playoff run we had, he pushed a whole heck of lot of right buttons before we faced the better team that deserved to win.

I may not think he's very adaptable and question his rotations, but with a healthy squad, it's getting kind of hard to argue results. He's giving guys enough rope to hang themselves. Where has Wood been? Barely getting minutes, and I don't think anyone sees a problem with that. He had his time to shine, but others showed more shine. Can't fault the coach for that.

Ok he's not the best coach but man the players love being around him and he loves being aroudn them...he's a glorified colleague for them and maybe that works with this team?

Either way...good job from Ham not messing up rotations. HOwever, I'm really worried about what he's going to do when Vincent gets back...I really don't see a place for him in this rotation....maybe 10-15 mins a game? I feel like Ham is gonna go small JUST to get Vincent minutes and we're going to get killed in those minutes and I'm goign to hate every second of it.

Really loose Ham interview. He's enjoying this one. Some cool Cam stuff at the tail end of the presser.

He deserves credit and his flowers for this one. Not winning without any 3 points shooting indicates a solid game plan

Plus he did the ballsy move of playing Max with Reaves and Cam. Basically took Ruis and Prince minutes. A lot of us including me thought this was the way but a coach ditching vets with big contracts and big experience is a good/great coaching move. Went with a guy who could navigate screens and was one of the reasons Halliburton has such a rough time compared to his previously matchips

Meh.....Why is Ham not a good coach? Furthermore...WHO... are all these "good" coaches in the NBA. I'd like to see some lists put up on this subject.

I'm starting to get sick of this silly a**...

"Good" coach, vs ""Motivational speaker , BS narrative.. going on around here. What's this magic criteria being used, to define what a "Good" coach is supposed to look like?

I’m tired of Ham, this team doesn’t have time for him to learn on the fly, we are in win now mode
