Hate to bag on the kid but did BI hit his ceiling? He looked as blah in overall effectiveness both sides of the ball as he did in FIBA.

Ingram can't be in lead. Passive. His comment that it takes a different kind to play in L.A. during FIBA speaks volumes about him.

Read a blurb revisiting the trade and we got an A- and Nawlins got an A.

Tremendous defense and on the boards. I just wish he could score outside of the paint. It would take this team to another level.

I'll take this over him trying to force some three point shots 6-7 times a game. It is what it is. He's an elite finisher and a DPOY-level defender. Let him do that and get a potent young scorer when Bron retires.

i think i pointed out a few pages back that his percentages were higher with more attempts (and this is true of lots of players). again, can't be sure of causal direction, but my feeling is that to be a good perimeter shooter, you have to take more of those shots in game situations. i think that was probably what ham was thinking with the six threes a game stuff, too. but the truth is that we don't need him to be that right now. maybe when lebron retires, we can try to use AD more as THE primary offensive option, which would require a team construction that gives him more space AND a willingness to deal with him taking more jumpshots (i know the fans love that).

right now, we have better options than AD perimeter shots. in a couple years, we might not, and we could possibly revisit.

Screw the 3s!! Just hit a good % of the EASY short Js he can get any time he wants and stop having so “many” of those spells where he’s missing point at blank range around the rim …. an easy 10 points more per game.

I don't care about the 3's.. a couple of mid range J's when the paint is packed would be nice.

Edit: In the 20 playoffs he has a whole 10 minute video on just mid-range jumpers. Now I expect every jumper he takes to miss. He feels like a strictly layup/dunk/baby hook scorer nowadays.

Has he just lost all confidence in his mid range game? I just don’t get it- he was cash money all over the court with his middy during the Bubble run.

It's just so bizarre: he clearly outplayed Jokic and then he became one of the only guys out there whose jumper got worse with age.

in fairness, 19-20 jokic is not nearly the same player as now. he wasn't getting the same amount of calls back then when dwight guarded him that he'd get now

AD's FG% was already on a downward trend before he got to LA. it really is odd

Not only that, but he shut them down defensively. Only a few bigs can do what he did offensively tonight. No other big can do what he did on both sides. 1 of 1.

    Kobe would be proud
