You can't ask for better looks, they're just not going in. It will course correct, but until then... damn! I think he's a placeholder for Vando at this point. I did really enjoy his 2 dimes to AD, those were good finds for a wing.
Just imagine if you took out the first game where he shot 75% from three. It’s been a very long downhill slide since then.
yeah, there's more hand-wringing about vando, but it's not like without him we've had better spacing. teams are daring us to shoot regardless, and we're not making them. hell, vando makes more of them than most of our supposed shooters in the same exact situation!
Another onefer. This guy is just dying on the vine out there. Can't wait for Vando to return. Prince needs to be benched like yesterday.
i think he'll eventually play well in his appropriate 20mpg bench role. that's what he's been the last three years (after playing 30mpg early in his career), but we have him up near 30mpg and in a starting position. hopefully vando comes and takes his starting spot soon, especially with cam going down.
luka's a better matchup for him than smaller ballhandling guards. clarkson and sexton just cleared out and blew by him. not sure that's his fault, though--ham seems to insist on using him against guys that aren't in his wheelhouse defensively. nobody can guard luka, but he at least has some experience, size, and strength.
Injuries caused a lot of this, but Ham needs to get the minutes down and then lineup shift when Vando is back
He’s looking like Troy Brown out there. Disappointing so far. He can play and supposedly he can shoot, but we are out of whack with relying on him for 30 plus minutes a game. He’s averaging single digits, shooting 40% overall, and 27% now from three. That won’t cut it. If he’s coming off the bench for 15 minutes a game I think he will be more effective in a back up role. Hopefully Vando comes back soon not to mention Rui.
Man his defense is bad. Should have just kept Lonnie lol (this is a complete hindsight post I really liked the Prince signing)
To be fair to Prince he is not a POA defender and Minnesota has McDaniels with Gobeet. Lakers have AD but losing Cam has made it difficult on Prince
