And it's only the guys we sign from Miami. Rest are just fine elsewhere. Some additional info on the knee I think our med team just makes words up. They worded AD's injury in a way I've never seen worded in professional sports... ever.
S*** I had to look it up again just now. His injury. When I said the other day to KH in defense of our staff, these injuries have been uncommon and take time that's certainly been the case. Too soon back and the risk of really screwing the pooch. To their credit when guys come back they generally look good again and not compromised. Reddish last night looked great with mobility after the groin issue, just has to get his wind back. Schifino from another goddam bone bruise, which if stressed too soon in that state can cause serious damage I and I think we have read. He looked great physically and with his mobility. Freaking heel bursitis with Jarred is another crappy injury like plantar fasciitis for an athlete ..... too soon back and back to square one. He's getting close though it sounds. But Gabe's sounded nasty too and not something to f*** with the first time I read it, and no better now. A knee effusion. WTF is that? Well it doesn't sound great and we as fans don't know what caused it. Some may think damaged goods, but the Heat offered him another contract, just not as much as we did. "Fluid accumulation in the intra-articular space and bursae of a joint is called an effusion. Small, asymptomatic effusions can occur in healthy individuals. Larger joint effusions indicate pathology. In the knee joint, trauma, overuse, infections, systemic causes, or changes in osteoarthritis may cause the effusion." "Trauma" is included, so me personally I'm hoping it was just another damn hard knee banging, as opposed to some of the other s*** mentioned. But nothing like your cartoon loss of skills now as a Laker!
Well I'm not clairvoyant. Apologies for missing this. What's your excuse for your bad takes on AD and JHS's basketball abilities?
In hindsight, yeah, I would have kept DS for sure. He was outstanding for us last year. But I think Dennis was already gone - he wanted a starting position again and he had an in with the staff of the Raptors. We probably should have fought harder to keep him though. The two salaries weren't hugely different. Another thing I liked about Dennis in hindsight was his availability last year. He turned his ankle badly a couple of times and he just taped it up and came back very quickly - sometimes the same game and played well through it.
Missed this. He played 4 freaking games and like YOU do .... you extrapolate the same/worst for the rest of his career here.
