he's got to either be a 40+ 3 point shooter or be able to lock up either swing position. if neither is true, vando gets all his minutes, imo.
I think he should get some spot minutes but yeah, needs to show that he can actually shoot well from three like he did vs. Denver. Can't be one and done here. Dropping to 31% has been unacceptable.
He's more shifty on offense than I thought. He will not fill up the stat sheet nor break the highlight reel but he consistently makes good decisions. He can be plugged in in any lineup so I don't mind if we go with Vando at some point
Prince got that magic 40% from three tonight. Nice to see that shot return. Overall he played a great game too. Just very smart out there.
I’m still in the camp as I was in the offseason, which seemingly was against the grain. I really didn’t like this signing and he really isn’t a shooter like a lot of folks made him out to be. His defense is average to slightly above average (at times). He does know how to cut though and spaces the floor well. Regardless, he’s a Laker, so I’ll root for his success.
He's not just some one dimensional shooter on offense. He's really good at attacking closeouts and moves with good agility. That's extremely useful.
More useful than Beasley was here offense and defense. What were your thoughts when we pulled him out of a hat?
Well if you compare him to Beasleyyyyy…… of course Prince is better. For 4.5, can’t expect too much. Once Vando is back, Vando and Cam should be on the floor at all times.
Hopefully Vando will be 100% past that really bad heel bursitis issue which if lingers at all would keep him from being himself and how he plays. Plus still will have to work himself back into that kind of condition. Just sucks with the special off season and immersive Handy training that it happened.
Prince is good as a Swiss Army knife type player. He can D up, he can shoot and he’s a smart minded vet who you can trust to play which has earned Ham’s trust. My only beef with him is I don’t feel like he’s impactful enough to be getting starter’s minutes. If he’s subbing for someone who is hurt that’s fine. But I’d like to see him go down to more like 15-20 minutes a game. We have a lot of really good players we are paying such as Rui and Vando. We need to keep developing them.
Need the 3s to fall, only hit 1 of 5. Thought he had a couple nice steals from reading the lanes. Taking notes from Cam. Also I didn't know he could do this
I like what Prince brings and believe his 3 will start falling again soon, but Ham plays him minutes like he's a superstar. 35 plus minutes? He should be getting 25 tops
We need to develop him, screw AR and his struggles. Prince is where it's at. Also Cam. And Gabe. And Rui. Screw that hillbilly.
I like Prince but not as a starter: he's no 3 and no D right now. That's probably not a combination you want
Prince will be fine once his minutes are reduced when Vando comes back. Dude has been logging heavy minutes lately.
