This guy has EVERYTHING a wing should have. He just needs to work on that shot. If he could consistently hit some corner threes, he'd be a Swiss army knife. Unfortunately, he can't... yet.
Max Lewis should be watching how Cam gets after it on defense. That's him next year, but with a big bag of offense to go with it.
Man just so weird that such a highly thought of player out of both high school and college has such a trash offensive game. He's a legit good defender but the jump shot is so broken. At least a guy like Vando has a smooth stroke, his jump shot looks like it's going to be way off the moment he starts his motion
it's got to be in his head, right? again, i posted the scouting reports on him from early in his career, and he was projected as a shooter. if anything, he's probably progressed in surprising ways in all other facets of the game, but his shooting has been really bad.
Absolutely, 100%. Because, as you already mentioned, he really improved in other aspects of the game. It's hard to explain otherwise.
Going to call him Corner Cam after tonight. Bron knew what he was doing, building that confidence Some really good 4th Q defense to boot.
Salivating at the mouth for when we see Cam and Vando on the floor as our defensive wings. Incredible stuff from Cam. Keep it up!
Fantastic game tonight from Cam!! Stoked for him. He could play a real role here with his D. Nice to see him find his rhythm from three.
I’m so confused. If he can average in the high 30s from three, he will remain a starter. I’m not betting on it, but man would it be a great story. Kid gets his flowers for sure for tonight’s great performance.
He's legit a playoff caliber starting player if he can keep defenses honest. Doesn't have to be Ray Allen but a bit better than Aaron Gordon would be awesome
No Bron. You were right to say these things. Passing it to Cam shooting 15% from the 3 was not the right call. The fact that he succeeded tonight doesn't negate the fact that he is a bad shooter and until he shoots consistently from 3 at around 35%, he is NEVER the player I'd like to be the one to take a game winning shot.
