Much better performance than the first game, think that has something to do with Lebron and Reaves playing. Wouldn’t mind him starting to be honest but gotta see how he does defensively against the top wings of the league.
13 - 7 - 2 with a couple 3s. Great out there. Played the passing lanes, active hands, getting after it on the glass (tied for Lakers best with Castleton, 7 boards). Can muscle his way in the paint for 2 or fire up a quick 3 like this one...
He's starting to look like the mystery 5th starter. He's got a good combination of the attributes of Vando (D) and Rui (ability to score). Kind of the best of both worlds. And he's a vet. And he's got some chemistry with Dlo. He could be a really important contributor this season.
Lol, please don’t remind me of that horror show abeer3! I’m really trying to purge that guy from my memory.
T. Prince was outstanding tonight! Nailed almost all of his shots and was on fire from three. He looks like a starter. Great balance as a three and D wing. Combines some of the skills of Rui and Vando.
I'm already comfortable giving him the starting role (sorry Vando), but I'd like to see what he does against Middleton on Sunday and then Booker next week... those would be the best wings we see all preseason.
I like him starting from an offensive stand point. Only question is who guards the ultra quick pgs? Wouldn't really have a point of attack defender for them.
We would be relying on a good defensive scheme, rotations, traps. The ultra quick guards are too much for one guy and with a good offense we can punish the midget guards like teams were doing to us. With Lebron not really playing much defense it will be challenging though.
This is what I was saying about Spurs 2014 vibes: you have 3 hubs (Lebron, AD, Reaves), 3 legit scorers (Dlo, Rui, Wood), and then glue guys in Prince, Max, and Hayes. When the glue guys defend, shoot 3's, and can move the ball you get that Barcelona soccer style where the ball pings around the court till you get an open shot or clear mismatch
I really like what I'm seeing from him out there. Perfect, seamless fit on this team. We haven't had nearly enough of this type of wing in recent years, despite me begging. Funny enough, we have one on the coaching staff to with DeMarre Carroll. Maybe our first two way, appropriately sized vet wing since Danny Green. Unless you count the corpse of Trevor Ariza. Before that you have to look back to a washed Corey Brewer, Deng, and an older, slower MWP.
Yeah I really think he's starting. His shooting fits perfectly with our stars and being a vet, he knows exactly what to do. He played some 2 as well last game (at least) where I think he can play in this team as well. Not sure what it means to Vando and how he fits the rotation but it's an amazing problem to have
