would actually be super awesome to be a hs guy getting to play with hofers and such. we were excited to get to play with college players when i was in hs. pros were never around for that.
relatedly, i'll be watching to see how walker plays this year. monk got better and stayed better. will lonnie? the market bet against it (he signed for the minimum, right?), but i think he's better than that. bkn has royce oneale and cam thomas competing for sg minutes with him, so we'll see if he can crack the rotation.
seems like we at least moved the baseline standard up just a bit it's not a bad thing to be known as a team for helping long wings get some minutes and get paid on their next contract

I wasn’t talking about fans referring to the team as us . I was talking about media and celebrities. When half of the ESPN people are Lakers fans, then they like the Yankees then the Cowboys. Or when they ask Leonardo di caprio who’s your favorite team he says Lakers.
well, media and celebrities are just fans like us, even if they work in the industry. Heck, let's face it, even refs have their affiliations!! LOL
I could see Cam breaking into the rotation at some point in the regular season. Probably at backup 2 I think. Don't see him getting minutes at SF which is quite crowded. He'll be fighting Christie for that spot.
Yeah, Christie will likely hit that "rookie wall" at some point in the year which will give Cam a shot. (I know he's a sophomore, but you have to play to hit it and he didn't play last year)
