You trying to hurt the man's feelings and make him feel unappreciated? SMH

haha, the tactics to try to get more money are great to see, but no joke, tough decisions have to be made, and these guys are only human.

I think Schroeder is hoping for the full MLE. I'm hoping he'll settle for the BAE. He was a really solid addition last year especially at the POA as a defender.

"And I think I have, of course, more worth than a minimum contract or $5.9 million and even bigger numbers than that."

    I don't want him over 8M. That's my number

as i said before, 7.5 exceeds the tpmle/bae stuff that is out there in abundance, and it preserves enough of our mle to be competitive with those. that would be my offer, assuming some high value guy doesn't shake loose for the full mle. with brown supposedly set for 20 per, i'm dubious.

With Dennis going to Toronto, that pretty much eliminates the market for DLo.

    And there it is.

Thanks for a solid second stint, loved your defense and heart but some of the decision making was painful.

I agree. Thanks for your contributions during your second stint with us Dennis. Defense was top notch and dude totally got after it. Clutch buckets to boot. I wish every person on our team has that mentality, tenacity, and constant effort during this whole next season. I’m sure you will excel in Canada!

i would given gabe $ to ds, not much of a difference in talent but ds reclaimed himself here

Happy for him. The redemption tour paid off. Competed his a** off. Would've liked him back but that's way more than what he would've been worth here, based on our roster.

Gets to go start in Toronto and maybe play himself into another raise after that stint.

I'm sure the opportunity to be the clear starter played a role, too.

i think gabe is worth more on the open market, but i'm quasi-sentimental on DS. just really liked his competitiveness. anyway, that contract is too rich for my blood, and toronto needs him. i'm actually a little concerned that toronto needs more of a distributor, though.

Similar to Dwight, Dennis redeemed himself in my eyes the second time around. Glad he’s gonna get paid again after fumbling the bag a couple of years ago. He certainly earned it.

Good for DS. I loved him playing through sprained ankles to keep us going in the playoffs. That was Tuff!

Not going to miss the multiple bonehead plays per game.

We'll miss his defense and toughness .

One of the best minimum contracts of all time .

I guess Lakers acknowledge the fact he was a problem for our offense as a slow catch and shoot guy and Vincent will fix this

He was great for us last year and I'm glad he got what he was looking for.
I'm not a fan of him though, so I'm glad I don't have to root for him now

I like Gabe more, different players but I like him more

Shrewd dude redeemed himself big time last year. I’ll miss his fire and toughness but good on him getting paid and taking a starting gig.

would've preferred keeping DS instead of paying vincent. oh well. he really stepped it up in the playoffs when they needed him most and played through injuries

We'll miss Schroder most on Defense. Optimistic that Reaves & Vincent can pick up the slack though.
