His contract may have moved all the way down to $15 million per. Why would a team pay this dude $20 million per? Honestly, I want a list of teams.

I think that's being a bit of a prisoner of the moment. No way he only gets $15m. Regular season still matters. I 100% agree he cost himself money. I mentioned elsewhere today that I think his true value his $22m, maybe get a little more ($25m) because you cushion it a bit for trade asset purposes.

For context guards making between $15m-$25m next season (rounded to nearest M):
    Dort $15m
    Huerter $16m
    Fultz $17m
    Sexton $18m
    THJ $18m
    Powell $18m
    Robinson $18m
    D. Murray $18m
    D. White $18m
    Smart $19m
    Bogi $19m
    Fournier $19m
    Hield $19m
    J. Harris $20m
    Dinwiddie $20m
    Brogdon $23m
    Rozier $23m
    Barrett $24m
    Simons $24m
    Conley $24m

If I'm LA, the bolded two are the comp rates I mention to his agent. I think he had Brunson money ($26m) locked up before the playoffs began.

He probably blame injuries in why he played so bad

Okay, let me put it this way. Which teams in the League, who have zero aspirations of relying on DLo in a playoff run are willing to gamble on him? There are some really bad GMs in the NBA, but are they just supposed to dismiss the fact that he always comes up tiny in the playoffs?

I don't buy that. Lebron was off the ball plenty screening, rolling, cutting, and spotting up. The moment was simply too big for Dlo. His track record in past playoffs where James wasn't around to blame paints a similar picture.

All in all, I still think we need to sign him. We have no way to replace him and he'll help us a lot in the regular season and certain playoff matchups.

Minny wasn’t the thing holding you back Dlo, it was your brain and lack of heart.

Not exactly he's only been to the playoffs 3 times. He played pretty well in Brooklyn . Memphis exposed his lack of physicality in Minnesota. Denver took him out of this series because of it. If he can't score he can't play a lot of minutes.

He might have scored more without Lebron. It's not just about Lebron playing off the ball, he's still demanding the ball, so it's less opportunities for D'Angelo to get into his bag. He needs action too, in order to get into a rhythm.

The fit is off, unless D'Angelo is hitting shots. The problem is how do we get him going with Lebron on the court.

If that's the case, he will have trouble on any team in the league because no one will make the the focal point of an offense. There will always be a MINIMUM of two players demanding the ball over him so he won't fit anywhere.

He's not taking that kind of paycut. Plenty teams could use him, and dump somebody they either don't want, or wants out. It's not in our best interest to lower his salary either.

No thanks to Lonzo..we might as well go for Lavine, since he wants to be a Laker too.

No really..most of the teams in the NBA are happy with just a chance to make the playoffs. He can play well somewhere else. He's not washed or something, he doesn't fit with LeBron.

He had a bad final game against Philly, but that team had Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons on the perimeter. He scored decently except for the last game.

The rumors will be running hot by the start of the Finals. I will say that having that contract is not a bad thing at all. Michael Porter Jr makes 30 million dollars folks, so does Jordan Poole. Less than 10% of the league makes that kind of money. That's star level money, not superstar level. The 3 star concept is still in full effect for the title contenders.
