he's a very good and very underrated coach, imo. how he's hidden jokic and murray on defense is some black magic s***. but pride goeth before the fall, bro. nurse, budenholzer, and williams were all fired this year.
This s*** is ridiculous. He’s got to be worried about us or something because he’s creating narratives that do not exist. Same as his players trying to make themselves the underdog with the media like they aren’t the 1 seed and almost everyone didn’t pick them to win.
malone has always had a deep hatred for the lakers. winning that first game might have gotten to his head. i think he's just trying to motivate his team, but these quotes are really going to come back and bite him in the a** if denver loses the series
I’ve been lurking on the Nuggets board today and ALL their fans are saying the same thing about Rui that Malone is.
Not sure why Ham doesn't just go with what obviously works, and start Rui instead. Hope Ham doesn't cost us this game like he cost us Game 1. At least it's not a stupid 3 guard lineup.
that's too predictable that's what Malone wants us to do so he can game plan for it. This way he gives Jokerster different looks to face.
if we drop a game at home we're done. seems pretty impossible to win 4 games in a row, so the best chance now is to hold home court and take the series to game 7.
That’s the series folks. I’m not even mad, we’re the 7th seed, we got in via the play-in, this team was put together a few months ago. Amazing we even made it this far. I respect Denver though, good team, we aren’t beating them 4 out of 5 times, not with this version of LeBron who hasn’t hit ONE three in this series yet won’t stop shooting them, and every other game Davis. Dennis is also not scoring, and we need contributions from the bench other than Rui. It was a great turnaround to the season, but 7 seeds don’t win titles, it’s incredibly hard to win 3 series in a row without home court advantage.
i think we have a great chance of taking both games at home, but i don't think we can take the series, particularly if lebron's ankle is as bad as his face made it look.
crazy how they even managed to keep this game close with how bad lebron and AD were but yeah, can't be mad about losing to a better team. denver is just too much for the lakers to handle. if jokic isn't going off, it's murray or MPJ. hopefully they can keep this group together, make some improvements here and there, and run it back again next season
Lakers defense was awesome for the most part: even with Murray getting hot they kept them down for the most part
