From Buha's article for The Athletic regarding planning for Joker.

Why wouldn't they have done this to start? It's his one obvious weakness is he's got slow feet on defense - get him moving tiring him out.

Any opportunity to involve Murray or Jokic needs to be the focus on every single possession. Not only are they not great defenders but this how you can slow them down on offense by making up use energy both ways

    This.

I mean... I think every analyst I've watched said this before the game.

you know, if Ham hadn't tried the small ball lineup, it would eat him up at nights wondering how it would work out. I'm glad he got it out of his system in game 1, and I think it's hilarious that we had a shot to steal the game at the end.

I just don’t get this dude sometimes. Anyone with eyes knew that you can’t trot out a three guard lineup against such a long and tall squad like Denver.

Bobby Portis suggesting that the Bucks roster this year was fine, but the biggest thing working against them was Ham’s departure

    Idiot. Cost us game 1.

No more 3-guard lineups to start please.

The only logical thing I can think of is that he wanted the Nuggets to adjust to our "strength".

Good to hear we are not considering setting us up for failure by going 3 guards again.

Good to see that Ham doesn't care about feelings if he is considering or doing it. He knows it's for the good of the squad and that whoever should understand it to know it's about matchups that they need to play better too.

Including his own now …. finally, for the bad idea in the first place. Correct HIS mistake.

Missed shots, turnovers and poor transition defense, is why we got into a big hole in the 1st half.

We got back into the game midway through the 3rd by playing Rui and Jarred together with either Lebron or AD. They did a better job on the switches. While much is made about Rui on Jokic, I think the biggest difference, was how we played the Jokic P&R. They were killing AD with that action, because he was sagging off, drifting back towards the paint, giving up open jumpers all game. Rui was switching and closing out on the shooters. It also helped that we were making more shots and wasn't getting caught lacking in transition defense as much in the 2nd half too.

It will be interesting to see the game 2 adjustments. If I'm Denver, if you have Rui on Jokic, I'm camping AD's man out at the 3pt line, and running Jokic straight to the front of the rim, everytime down the floor. Sending Rui help, is going to open up a lot of good looks from the perimeter. Then it's just a matter of whether their perimeter guys can knock down shots.

Don't be an idiot tonight please.

    Start Rui over Dennis.

    Play Vando more.

NO 3-GUARD LINEUPS and that includes any of the following combinations:
    Dennis/Dlo/Reaves
    Dlo/Reaves/Walker
    Dennis/Reaves/Walker
    Dennis/DLO/Walker

And stagger AD"s minutes with Jokic.

I feel like the title change is disingenuous.
