Gotta give it up to Ham in the post season so far. He is holding his own against Kerr after out coaching Taylor Jenkins who coached alongside him in Milwaukee.

His adjustments have been great so far and rotations have been solid after looking average in both of those attributes throughout the season.

I thought he was going to stick with Troy Brown Jr throughout the playoffs after the regular season, but him playing Rui throughout the first round where he had both a defensive and offensive advantage against his opposite was great. Now he has lowered his minutes but is giving Lonnie a go as an athletic chase defender.

Plenty of strategic adjustments I’ve liked in both series. Today’s adjustments of playing Vando on green to blow up the pnr with Steph and Green was great with AD patrolling in behind.

Ham's game to game adjustments have been great all playoffs, its his in game adjustments that are still concerning though he is improving.

LOL .... against the fact the Lakers took out the tough 2nd seed Grizzlies in 6 and are up 2-1 against the defending champs, you defend your hate for Ham like Slick defended Westbrick. Has to be part schtick.

His adjustements have been good according to Cranjis , I trust this guy as he's not afraid of calling it like it is and knows ball way more than me .

One thing I didn't like in Game 3 was going back to the non Gabriel lineup when AD sat

I imagine Kerr is going to get Dray more involved because he needs him on the floor but you need more than 2 points out of him, even if he's in foul trouble most of the night. Ham's counter should be to really get AR, Dennis and Vando to sell the contact on the screens. Force the foul trouble. This is the longest AR has gone without getting hit in the face, put your face in there, take the elbow.

Kerr has patterns like everyone else: they're going to go small and spam the Steph/Green PnR.
    This is his security blanket.

I suspect they Jamychal and Looney get dropped and they go poole party (or with Moody/Dante)

If this is the case I think you head hunt Klay in the PnR and just attack the rim/glass to punish the small lineup.
For the love of god no hedging on the PnR: high drop or switch and Lakers should be fine

You mean no double on the PnR? Hedging/showing is fine and AD is pretty good at getting back to his man.

Or is "high drop" just another word for "showing" on the PnR?

If I were Golden State, I would attack AD in the paint off the dribble, especially with Steph, and try to get him into foul trouble. AD is going to block a lot of shots, but Curry is a superstar, he's going to get his share of foul calls with contact. If they could get AD out of the game for long stretches, their chances of winning increases.

Man you and your pop's absolutely hated Russ lol. The Russ thread was epic. You have to admit though, that contract was an extremely valuable asset.

No not so much "hated" Russ as was driven crazy by your LeBron and AD only playing X number of games together "excuse" for Russ playing as poorly as he did most of the time, especially the first year .... ALWAYS. That affected our wins and losses the most, and you claimed we blamed those poor records all on Russ. No. They were 2 separate things. And Russ got to be Russ plenty both years. It just never changed. A good game here and there and more games where his poor choices, bricks, terrible off ball defense and brain farts did not contribute to winning basketball. Whether LeBron and AD were playing together or not.

Meh..we weren't winning squat without Lebron and AD playing period IMO. Russ wasn't going to save that season, no more than the "great" balanced roster did in the previous season. That was always my point. They were 2 separate things true, but Lebron/AD playing in X amount of the games was still the biggest issue.

If we didn't trade for Russ, we wouldn't have D'Angelo, Jarred and Malik...I'd make that trade all over again today.

Other contracts obviously. The draft pick was the asset, not the contract.

Nope..the draft pick has no money value. It's not like it was some high lottery pick either. However D'Angelo, Jarred and Malik equalled 47 million dollars. They are more valuable than that draft pick.
