don't know man "went away from what was working on offense" implies to me the Lakers stopped doing what was working and what they were doing away was available for them to do. But to me that GS actually made several changes and the Lakers couldn't do what they were doing due to other decisions (i.e. fatigue).
watch GS get multiple foul calls on 3s next game i thought they did a great job defending curry. klay and poole hit tough shots but i'd much rather take a chance on that than letting curry beat you with his 3 pt shooting
Long bricked three balls by us get the Warriors out on the break. Our team is awful at getting back. Since we are a very bad three shooting squad, we need to limit these attempts. DLo and Austin are the only guys who should be jacking up more than a couple of them per game. I’m fine with the occasional Jack by a wide open Rui or Vando, but in these playoffs, this team needs to maximize what works best.

I agree with this. However, we are playing into their hands when we settle. If we only take what they are giving us, this means we aren’t playing to our strengths. We barely got away with it this time.

Last game of the 82: Lebron goes 8 for 14 from 3, and I thought that could be a bad sign. It was. For the most part he's open and feeling it. Because he's who he is I doubt if anyone on the staff is gonna take him aside and tell him to nix the 3FGAs. OTOH, we still beat them. And GSW hit 21 3s. Can they do better? Well, look at those guys: yea, they can. We've seen it. Will they shoot better from 3? I doubt it. That's the good news. This GSW team will have nights where everyone is relatively cold. If we play our style consistently, we're moving on to the WCF...which, if you came from the future and told me that at the All Star Break I'd say you're dreamin'. Game 2 will be an easy Warriors win , Lakers got the split they wanted , will load manage during the game and study GS adjustments for Game 3 .
I hope the Lakers isnt going into gm2 with that mentality. If they give them any confident, it will not be good for us. They shouldnt make it an easy win. They need to work for every point. Best thing for the Lakers is to win gm2 too. That is stepping on their necks.
