i think he's learning how to take hits and still drop in those short jumpers. you can sort of see the wheels turning when he gets a couple of those to drop. his defender has to pull back on the aggression a bit after that, and then he gets to play his game.

yeah, in theory, that was beasley and bamba. too bad they haven't worked out so far, but the plan was right on.

DLo was almost as important to the win as AD. Huge game from him.

Just my theory, but I think he has gained some confidence to probe the paint and throw up his floater watching AR do it so successfully over the last few weeks. Neither DLo or AR has the Ja hops to just go over anybody, but they are both smart and slithery and effective when they drive.

Love that these two guys are golfing together and sharing probably tips for each other on how to play their NBA positions. They both have higher ceilings and will only get better. It’s a tremendous combination that allows LeBron to play more off ball and conserve energy.

James is trusting them too which is a huge factor.

Some attainable ones this summer via fa. Curry and Biyombo for example.

Yes invaluable to keep an "older" player so James can pick and choose which or when possessions to take over. He probably knows he can't string great games together like he used to.

Great bounce back game! Being aggressive, and looking for his shot early got him going. I continue to say that this next round, will better suit his playing style. Hopefully it will be the same for Malik. Austin, Dennis, Jarred, and Rui are playoffs ready IMO.

That is why I kept saying through the season he needed minutes so come playoff time he has some experience. Before the trade he should have been playing more. He was just what we needed. Understandable after the trade it would be harder to get him playing time. Coaches have to not only prepare for today but use the entire season to prep for the playoffs. Ham is making up for it though...lol.

    I completely agree on Christie.
Guess we’ll have to wait until next season.

Well he needs to and the Lakers also: James clearly doesn't have the same burst after the foot injury but if can play off the ball, he about as good anyone in terms fo skillset. He can screen, cut to either the 3 pt line or basket, post the smaller defender if the switch occurs, and he will still have gravity if you put him at the 3 point line despite the bad 3 pt shooting.

If Dlo can cook, a title run is possible

The spotlight gets brighter, the further you advance in the playoffs. This is a huge series for D'Angelo. Dennis brings more to the table defensively, but if D'Angelo is knocking down shots, he could be the X factor in this series.

Damn! That post conversion really stopped their momentum. They probably would have went for a further run without that.

Huge baskets all game and especially in the clutch when we needed it. Didn't let that air ball faze him.

His offense is what allowed us to pull away from them in the 3rd quarter. Would like him to play more in the 4th rather than sitting half the quarter out like that.

Really big 3rd Q and a couple big plays in the 4th. Effort was there defensively, but they hunted him. Need more on that end. I think he can easily have this kind of offensive game every game this series. Like I said before the series, they don't have the get-into-you defenders the Grizz have that really took him out of it until game 6.

Had a good flow on offense. Needs to fight harder through those screens.
