Must win game tonight. If MEM steals this one, we're in deep trouble. Would be a travesty to get eliminated by an injury riddled team.
No matter who we play it’s going to be difficult, that’s just the playoffs, you have to beat the best teams 4 out of 7 times. We still have to make it to the 2nd round before we play anyone anyway, this series is far from over, lot of work today. On another note What a clown, truly one of the biggest jacka**es in the NBA
Oh don't you worry. The Modelos are in the fridge, the lucky shirt and jersey are already on, and the thai food order is on standby. Your boy is locked in.
if the lakers were to move on, i'd much prefer they play GS and not the kings. kings youth+speed scares the crap out of me
hawks just knew they were cooked and were acting out. i do think playing boston is hard. they're physical and seem to come out on the right end of the whistle a ton. they're what people claim the lakers are in that regard. in my (obviously biased) opinion.
Yeah, Hawks had no chance in this one. Not sure anyone in either conference does. Bucks were right on their heels before the Antetokounmpo injury. Got to see how he looks when he comes back. Is he coming back because he's fine or to avoid losing in round one to the Heat? But unfortunately I think Boston is the best team in the playoffs and if they don't get hurt, it's not close. I know Cs are stout defensively, but this surprised me when I scrolled by it last night I also can't tell if they're looking at Cs coverage or another Collins trade rumor.
Kings have no one you can rim protect and the Lakers strength is attacking the paint. GS has two guys to throw at AD so pretty easily prefer the Kings if I were the Lakers
collins must be a problem behind the scenes, too, right? nobody wants him despite filling up the stat sheet. the dlo of pfs, except less consistent in the regular season.
Oof thats the deathblow for Sac. They've managed to dodge big injuries all season, it was time one of their two stars are out. But man, West is wide open again.
I blame Atlanta for a large part of this. Discussed it at the deadline when he didn't move, but I think they've really f***ed with his mental. When you've been on the block for over 3 years and not moved, you're not going to feel very wanted. This has been under different coaches and different front office regimes. You're going to start wondering, is it me? Maybe Snyder can get through to him. Trae's dad already said that Snyder is the best thing that could've happened to his son's career. He's a damn good coach. The rest of this season was really a zero expectation, evaluation process for Snyder. What is the point of load managing carefully and strategically through the season for the playoffs when he can't even glue himself together for half of the first round series? It's one thing when he was doing this during the season so he could be THAT guy for 20 playoff games and get you a ring or put you in the mix. If he can't be that guy, what's he being paid for. So glad he turned us down. For the NBA, it's a shame because he can shoot and defend at first ballot hall of fame levels. But injuries really robbed him of a career that could've been. That said, hard to feel bad for him because he's an a**.
I don’t even know if he’s an a**, tbh. He’s purposefully inaccessible, so it’s hard to muster sympathy. I also think he’s gotten off the hook more than any star I can remember. I mean, AD is called street clothes while this guy is (literally) sitting RIGHT THERE.
