Lin looks like he's looking more comfortable out there. Good game. Kobe should let Lin handle the offense primarily. Kobe should just do his thing in the post.
Good game. He's coming along just fine. He'll be the long-term starter and as long as Kobe remains healthy, they'll make a formidable back-court.
Jeremy kicked butt tonight. Without him in the starting lineup we're pretty anemic - there's just not enough fire power. With him it's a different story. Price needs to come off the bench.
We're pretty thin of scorers on the bench as well. This is where we miss Young. A guy who could create his own shot and is that spark off that bench we need right now. He's being missed...not to mention, Clarkson & Kelly who could space the floor, provide some scoring, etc...
And X Henry, too. He can get his own in a big way as well. What I would give to have X starting at the three right now over Wes.
I'd agree except I don't think X is every going to get healthy, LJ. He off-season knee surgery and had practically all summer/training camp to get right from a healthy standpoint, and he still hasn't & considering his health issues in the past with other teams, I don't think his body is going to ever going to hold up to the demand of an 82 game schedule. In short, I think his career his done barring a miracle.
^^ Sadly you may be right RandleROFY. As always, we'll have to see. But it might be true. I am a big fan of the kid and am hoping he might be able to do something but it sounds rough right now.
Are X's injuries that bad? I've watched Wes Johnson ever since he got drafted and I can say confidently that he's virtually the same exact player he was then as he is now: lots of mental lapses on the court, tons of athleticism, very shaky jump-shot, sometimes has the ability to have a mini-hotstreak but can never hit more than 3 shots in a row...
Lin played some pretty great defense in stretches tonight. To have 2 PG's that can D up, I can hardly believe my eyes.
Will we finally have a decent PG for most of the season? I was almost a hater of Lin (more than a Lin hater, a "Linsanity" hater) at the beginning, but he's really won me over through his relevant time in the league. He's a real hard worker and a guy that doesn't give up (he's pretty much an NBA 2K15 My Career profile) and has gone through a lot to get to where he is. You could see it in the court last season. Being with Harden and Howard must've been pretty horrible for him, even if he's too much of a good guy to admit it in public. I'm glad this guy's a Laker.
Excited for this coming season because of Kobe, Randle and Lin. Just no injuries please for Jeremy. Damn
