Saw the box score and he played below 20mins (Vando as well). Did he hurt himself again? Tweaked something? Or was it just an in-game load management?

We’ve got a big week ahead. We need DLO to beat the Clippers. I don’t mind resting him today if he needed it.

See? Exactly what I was saying. They are 100% load managing him. He'll start again, and if we need him, he'll play. If we have a comfortable lead, he'll sit.

He has missed so much more time with the Lakers than he did with Minnesota despite being here way less time. Weird.

Still, it's his 3rd most minutes and games played. If he plays 62 minutes total the rest of the way, he'll have his second most minutes played.

He’s fine and it was smart to play him limited minutes against Houston.

How does D'Angelo help his upcoming free agency, by sitting out games that he could be playing? I'm not getting the logic with this take.

    remaining healthy?

But yeah, I don't see it either. Time to show what you've got IMHO.

Maybe there are already talks about the new contract and some differences between the two parties ...

I may be wrong but don't you find this situation weird even with the whole " medical staffs are taking over the nba" movement ?

watching the houston game, and the rockets made the little run in the early third in part because schroder was getting the looks that russell would have gotten, imo. when we've got all our guys, we're very hard to defend.

The combination of DLo and Reaves is interesting: not many backcourt have guys who are both 6'4' and taller and who play like PGs with the ability to be 3 level scorers. You got two "poor-man" version of Kyrie instead of Kyrie himself. Two not quite all-stars but damn close could be a real problem if we can get this team healthy.

Not sure I got a good comparison for them: the size is unique as well

russell's off ball defense has been better than i expected, too (on ball, he's still not great).

it will be on ham to figure out how to use AD and vando on the back line to help against the dribble penetration that reaves and russell will give up against good penetrators, but that's really the only weakness in our backcourt.

i'm digging the big 2 (lebron/AD), little 2 (russell/reaves), and quality support pieces (vando/rui/schroder/beasley/bamba) model.
