HUGE 2nd half. The pressure he put on his man really disrupted what the Wolves were trying to do. After AD, I thought he had the most impactful second half.
Schroder brought that defensive energy we needed to turn the game. Some of yall hate him but we need to try and keep him, hopefully the Ham connection helps us (though he's probably still after the bag that he fumbled)
He was fantastic for us in that second half and really took over the game for stretches with his energy on both ends. I'm loving the Shrewd dude this season despite not wanting him at the start. I'd love to keep him. He really fulfills the role of spark plug lead guard off the bench.
Sometimes he drives me nuts with the over dribbling, but his defensive effort and intensity recently have been spectacular. Good dimes tonight as well.
Yeah- he sometimes over dribbles, then gets in a bad spot and ends up passing to someone at the end of the shot clock.
Love what he brings to this team. I can live with the occasional bad play. No way near as irritating as watching Russ blooper reels.
Really good defense forcing Horton Tucker into a tough fade away miss. Poked the rock away earlier to reset our defense.
Dennis is just about the best possible bench PG we could ask for. He’s been superb in that role. Starter not so much, but he’s still a luxury to have for it when DLO is mysteriously sitting.
Lakers are 64-47 all-time with Dennis as a starter so he's more than capable of filling in if needed. He is of course better suited of the bench.
This was a bad game for him as his 3 wasn't falling. The Jazz packed in the paint and the Lakers without Dlo had to rely on Schroeder/Lebron/Vando etc on the perimeter. Definitely a concern but more if DLo is out for a long period of time: otherwise Schroeder continue to play well overall
