Gotta cut 10 games off the season and eliminate back to backs. Contract bonuses are tied to awards, so to incentivize them they need to further tinker with the number of games played to be eligible for any regular season accolade.
Watched 76ers w/o Embiid play DEN pretty tough, until the Nugs went on a crazy run in the 3rd, something like 20-2, to blow 'em out. Anyway, PJ Tucker bricked 2 3s from the corner - "his" shot - and I was glad, 'cuz the guy has always seemed to take himself WAY too seriously. Dude NEVER smiles. Good blue-collar NBA player, though. So I just looked at his stat line: 23 mins: 0/0/0. How often do you see that? He didn't have a steal or a block, either. He did have 1 foul.
He and Tatum will make for a hell of a next wave of Laker pairings... after we wash the green off Tatum and have any fondness of that city wiped from his memory bank.
I bet it wouldn't take long. One trip with Pau to Vanessa's house and he bleeds P&G. If we were to get these two, the outcry around the league would be something else...

lol white goodman smack. dillon brooks is really easy to hate. and i know he's supposed to be that guy that you love on your team, but like pat bev, i'm pretty sure i'd have a hard time stomaching that, too.
came across this, and realized that people should talk more about evan mobley in terms of budding superstar/future hofer types. i loved him last year, and i hadn't gotten to watch as much of him this year, but the little i have suggests he's going to be a td/kg/ad level player if he stays healthy. having him, mitchell, and garland locked up is pretty great for cleveland.
I missed the C-Bags @ MIL game. I had made a mental note to DVR it, but forgot. So I saw that BOS won by 41 in MIL, and figured MIL did load mgmt with Giannis and/or Middleton and/or Holiday. But no: all those guys played. WTF? Just one of those games, I guess. I'm readin' the boxscore like a muthuh: MIL's great D gave up 75 in the first half, and 51% from 3 for BOS, 56% shooting overall. Holiday, who had 51 his last game, had 6 in 24 mins. The Bucks just didn't show up, and every time I see a game like this between the two best in a Conf, I always think of the Memorial Day Massacre.
this is one of the few times i'll give ainge some credit (i think he's generally overrated by fans and media)--almost nobody was really enamored with tatum, except boston. who had the #1 overall pick and traded down to get him. yes, that move required him counting on us being dumb, but even though i never liked the lonzo pick, i wanted to trade down--because i didn't think tatum was a star, either. frustrating that our only real draft screw up in the past decade happened at the top of the draft.
Sick play. I cant believe he shoots so well while his palms are so freakin huge. Try to shoot a handball, it's a nightmare. I also cant believe more teams weren't tanking this season.
