I’ve liked Shroder’s play all season. Where else are you gonna get this kind of value on a vet minimum contract? Would love to see him back next year.
schroder killed dort last game, iirc. he's got his number. dort's not quick enough to guard pgs and is overly aggressive after he's been beaten off the dribble. no shame; he's still an excellent defender. i wouldn't put AD or vando on a pg, either. oh, and williams having to guard reaves (instead of having russ or bev in that spot on the floor) makes that play possible.
Dennis is posting a 126.1 OFFRTG in the 4th quarter to lead all qualified players in the nba. He just brings it in the 4th.
kind of insane how good Schroder has been in the 4th. Love that he just brings it every night...insanely good value for a vet's min pickup.
I’ve never been so happy to be wrong about a Lakers signing. After trading for Pat Trash Bev and still being saddled with Russ I was appalled to bring in another player that I didn’t like, even at vet min. But wow did Schroder redeem himself this year. He works so well in the bench role and with Ham and now AD (who he didn’t connect with the first time around), Shrewd dude is right near the top of guys I want to bring back next year. He’s a great fit for this team.
We have him and Russell, both types that can score off the dribble. Create their own shots if a play breaks down or isn't there. It's a good luxury. Wish he'd look around sometimes when dribbling.
I thought Vando was awesome on SGA: refs let him get away a forearm shiver into chest which was ridiculous. Lebron or AD do that automatic offensive foul
Clutch performance, dude has been great for us when we had guys out during the season. Has to be one of the best vet min signings this season
He’s copied the Dwight Howard story line. He may not win a Chip as a Laker, but I feel that he has redeemed himself in the eyes of many Laker faithful.
He was huge, and I hope it continues, for our sake and for his. Would be nice to see him turn his career back around and get paid a bit after his fumbles the last couple years, feels like he’s earned that.
That's cool, and Dennis was fantastic last game. Lol @ Harrison calling it being "out late" for him to be w his family until 10:20 at Disneyland though.
Really impressive work with ball pressure in the 3rd quarter: totally changed the game and took Conley out of it
